The Week After Easter (4/21/2014)

Greetings Everyone,

All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. PRAYER REQUESTS: Please keep me in your prayers: for physical, spiritual, and mental healing; for change, growth, and self-improvement; for an increase in resources, prosperity, and success for my non-profit organization; and for guidance in my career decisions. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Since we last met in fellowship, I have been reading the Word in the King James Version, and have been working to improve myself spiritually and in-turn, mentally as well as emotionally. There will still be some gaps between the SODs; however, in case of an emergency, call God on His prayer line so He can address your concerns immediately - unlike me, He is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days of the year. On another note, please remember that FMBS Inc. (refer to the next paragraph for more details) is sponsoring a YEAR-ROUND fundraiser through See's Candies (see the attached order form), and we would love and appreciate your support in our fundraising efforts. We are also looking to volunteer more, to gain a rapport with local communities; if you have or know of a community event or project that may be in need of volunteers, feel free to contact me so that I can make arrangements with my team to get on board. Additionally, the FMBS Inc. website is still down at this time, hopefully we will be functional again within the next month or so. And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him: lo, I have told you."

I know what glorious things this Holy Day says to the world at large. But what does Jesus want me to know, to think about, to wrestle through at this time of year?This season of new beginnings... I feel like the girl who wears the same outfit to school two days in a row. Easter is done now. Time to put it back in the closet. Only for me it isn't. I want to wear it again today, tomorrow and many more tomorrows. After all, Easter is... a revelation. A time where Jesus splits my soul along the fault line of a scar deep within: I was an unwanted child to my birth dad. Unwanted. But to Jesus... I was wanted so much that He gave His life for me. It feels so personal. Even though I know God so loved the world, that He gave His son, it becomes very individual if we let it. Be personal with Jesus... in the midst of a world putting Easter away,might we let it sit with us for just a bit more?"

1. "Do not be afraid," - God, I hand over to you those things that make me so afraid. Resurrect the parts of my faith squelched by fear...
2. "
   I know that you are looking for Jesus," - God, when my soul is searching, help me know that the answer to every longing can be found in you.
3. "He has risen," - God, the fact that Jesus is risen should lift my head, my heart and my attitude. Help me to live today as if I really believe this with every part of my life...
4. "Just as he said," - Jesus, you keep your promises. Help me live as though I believe that, with every part of me. Help me trust you more, obey you more, and resemble you more...
5. "Come and see," - Jesus, you had the angels invite the women in to see for themselves that you had risen. You invite me into these personal revelations every day. Forgive me for sometimes rushing about and forgetting to come and see for myself --- you, your Word, and your insights.
6. "Then go quickly and tell His disciples," - Jesus, I don't want to be a secret keeper with my faith. I want to be a bold and gracious truth proclaimer for: you; with you; because of you; me, the unwanted girl whom you loved, redeemed and wanted...

"Easter should be personal, prayerful, and its purpose and principles should linger within you past the holiday," and surpassing all the pagan rituals associated with it (TerKeurst, 2014); if you have children and/or adults within your circle who are unaware of the true meaning behind Easter, then school them --- the truth behind holidays that are glorified and exploited by the industry market and converted into pagan traditions, such as: Halloween, Christmas, and of course Easter, should be properly explained to those whose ignorance is enabled and strengthened through every passing of said holidays. Be the bridge that connects the gap between fallacies and actuality of pagan customs that revolve around significant holidays, such as the previously mentioned; do NOT allow your children to go another year unequipped with accurate knowledge regarding the transition of sacred holidays into idolatrous practices.

Prayer of the Day:

Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant us forgiveness, and for placing upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More so Father, we thank you for removing the guilt we once placed on self, and for removing every thought that has held us captive in our own minds. Lord we thank you for touching every reader and recipient of this message; thanks for blessing us, comforting us, and delivering us from all burdens. We thank you for letting your truth sink deep down into our hearts and souls today; thanks for helping us to stay focused on you. Provide each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Thanks for helping us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. We thank you for discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. Thanks for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you and thank you in advance for working it all out. All these things we claim in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Bible Translations (4/1/2014)

Greetings Everyone,

All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. PRAYER REQUESTS: Please keep me in your prayers: for physical, spiritual, and mental healing; for an increase in resources, prosperity, and success for my non-profit organization; and guidance in career decisions. ANNOUNCEMENTS: since we last met in fellowship, I have celebrated 33 years living and I am grateful to God for His everlasting mercies in my life... Previously, I conducted a study on the various bible translations, and broke them down into levels of understanding. To me, it appeared that older versions (KJV) were more complicated to comprehend, while newer versions (NIV, NLT, etc.) were catered to the highly intelligent, grade school students, and no offense intended, the dummies (The Message). Unfortunately, through my ignorance, I shared my interpretations with you. As a result, effective immediately I will be utilizing the KJV as my primary bible reference. There will also be gaps between the SODs so that I may further educate myself regarding the various bible translations; tonight's lesson will differ slightly from what you have grown accustomed to. Passage - Matthew 24:29-31:

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

After watching a movie called New World Order Bible Versions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFtI_mVOXbQ), I am embarrassed to say that I previously provided yall with some misinformation. I am however relieved that I always remind yall to "study to show thyself approved," as NOT to be misguided by hearsay; rather, you should do your own research in your quest for the truth, as it falls in line with the Word of God. In a nutshell, this movie provides solid proof that other bible translations have been tampered with, while the King James Version (KJV) maintains accuracy; the KJV has only been modified in its punctuation and spelling. Other versions, such as those previously mentioned, have completely removed significant bible verses (relative to its intended message). Don't believe me? Grab a KJV bible and a NIV translation and look up Matthew 17:21 - it skips from verse 20 straight to verse 22. In Acts 8, there is a skip of verse 37. Additionally, the verbiage is different, which in turn reduces its solidity and further decreases its validity; the KJV bible is clear that "there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one," the NIV translation simply states that, "there are three that Testify." What three? It is left for the reader to interpret its specificity, or to be misguided by religious leaders who are trusted to deliver the truth. However, if the "truth" has been tampered with, how reliable are sermons delivered from other bible translations? Honestly, you need to pray and study yourself, so that God can reveal His willful message to you. The New World Order Bible Versions movie helped open my eyes through a delivered message that can be backed 100% by the Word of God. If your pastor or another religious leader preaches a sermon yet rarely refers to the Bible text, how reliable are his or her teachings? If you cannot find proof in the Word that delivered information is legit, then there is an obvious flaw that renders such direction invalid. All this is to say that my plan is to do some extra research using the KJV and other reference bibles, such as the 1599 Geneva Bible (discussed in the 1st movie mentioned), and parallel reference books that include original Greek translations, to help me break down my studies more precisely. I encourage you to set aside some time to watch the previously mentioned movie as well as another called After the Tribulation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTmZHDb_sP8). They are each full length, so make sure you are able to dedicate your undivided attention; these messages are necessary for the foundation we are building in our Christian walk, in our ministries, and a catalyst for deeper understanding. Although I did enjoy the Left Behind book series, it is a work of FICTION. Do NOT be deceived into thinking that you still have a chance to be saved after the rapture. The bible is clear that tribulation comes before the rapture and then there is the 2nd coming (refer to Matthew 24:29). Watch those two movies and use your KJV bibles to verify the information covered in both films; the proof is in His word. If you are not equipped with the shield of God, you will be fooled by the antichrist; "study to show thyself approved" "lest any man should deceive you with enticing words."
