Now & Forever (6/28/13)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! It’s Friday, yall know what that means... time to chill’lax. Please prioritize your time and enjoy yourself, but do NOT forget to spend some time with God. Also, I will continue to remind yall about my non-profit organization’s participation in the Brain Tumor Society’s annual 5k walk/run. FMBS Inc. will be walking/running in honor of my dear friend, Jennifer Robinson, a brain tumor survivor. If you would like to participate in the walk with us, let me know, or “register” to “join a team” under my name (Tylesha Allen) or my company’s name (FMBS Inc.) for Team Jenn. Or, if you would rather submit a monetary donation, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Ether way, simply copy and paste one of these two URL addresses: http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/Team_Jenn_R http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/fmbs_4_Team_Jenn into your Internet browser to read Jennifer’s story, to join Team Jenn, or to make a pledge to help us reach our fund-raising goal, also listed on our team page. Feel encouraged to SHARE these links with others, because so many people out there have met death because of brain tumors and brain cancers, and many others are also affected; our efforts will bring researchers that much closer to cure, and will help to educate society. There are three individuals I know who require prayer with urgency, as the enemy is attacking internally, with full force. Kerry Jr., Jomo Horton, and I, each have similar internal struggles, but from very different cause and effects, and each of us have family members who may have added to the problem, have difficulty accepting or supporting the underlying issue or coping mechanism, and/or fail to be the refuge we need/desire. I know, and have faith that GOD CAN, and has ALREADY won our battles. However, we still need you to pray for us; our faith and prayer in numbers will guarantee and strengthen our favorable outcomes. Thanks in advance. As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcomeDo NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God willing, may we meet again in fellowship next week, have a wonderful weekend. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

For Material Needs:
"And I, having received the gift of righteousness do reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ” derived from Romans 5:17 (Capps, 1976, p. 154). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House.

Romans 5:17 says, “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.” “We were all born into Adam’s physical family – the family line that leads to certain death... We have inherited his guilt, a sinful nature (the tendency to sin), and God’s punishment. Because of Jesus, however, we can trade judgment for forgiveness. We can trade our sin for Jesus’ righteousness... We can reign over sin’s power, over death’s threats, and over Satan’s attacks. Eternal life is ours now and forever. In the power and protection of Jesus Christ, we can overcome temptation...” (The Life Application Study Bible New International Version. (1991). Romans Chapter 5 - Footnotes (pp. 2036-2037). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.).

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Open supernatural doors in our lives, and bless us with a double portion of your Spirit. Oversee the efforts made to recruit participants for the brain tumor walk/run, and allow our fund-raising for the event to overflow. Bless all those who donate to the Brain Tumor Society in support of Jennifer and other victims/survivors of brain tumors, as well as those who participate in the actual walk/run. Father we ask that you will bless Tylesha’s organization, FMBS Inc., abundantly with prosperity and success. Like you did for Peter, we ask that Jesus intercede and say a prayer for Kerry Jr., Jomo Horton, and Tylesha with emphasis on their individual need, as well as their family need: bridge all gaps; mend broken bonds; heal heartache and pain; and restore the respect, unity, effective communication, and genuine love within their family units. We thank you for the triumph over sin and death. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our families. We take back everything the devil has stolen from us: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health; finances; relationships; marriages; children; employment; homes; knowledge; wisdom; understanding and peace. We declare now that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper. Today we claim defeat over our adversaries, binding every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our claim to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen

"The Lord is my shepherd and I DO NOT WANT because Jesus was made poor that I through His poverty might have abundance. For He came that I might have life and have it more abundantly,” derived from Psalm 23:1, II Corinthians 8:9, and John 10:10. (Capps, 1976, p. 154). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House.

Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” II Corinthians 8:9 states, “You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.” John 10:10 says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” “... Sheep are completely dependent on the shepherd for provision, guidance, and protection... As the Lord is the good shepherd, so we are his sheep – not frightened, passive animals, but obedient followers, wise enough to follow one who will lead us in the right places and the right ways. This psalm does not focus in the animal-like qualities of the sheep, but on the discipleship qualities of those who follow. When you recognize the good shepherd, follow him!” (The Life Application Study Bible New International Version. (1991). Psalm Chapter 23 - Footnotes (pp. 924-925). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.). “There is no evidence that Jesus was any poorer than most first-century Palestinians; rather, Jesus became poor by giving up his rights as God and becoming human... As a man, Jesus was subject to place, time, and other human limitations. He did not give his eternal power when became human, but he did set aside his glory and his rights... Christ became “poor” when he became human, because he set aside so much. Yet by doing so, he made us “rich” because we received salvation and eternal life” (The Life Application Study Bible New International Version. (1991). II Corinthians Chapter 8 - Footnotes (p. 2102). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.). “In contrast to the thief who takes life, Jesus gives life. The life he gives us right now is abundantly richer and fuller. It is eternal, yet it begins immediately... Have you taken Christ’s offer of life?” (The Life Application Study Bible New International Version. (1991). John Chapter 10 - Footnotes (p. 1897). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.).

Accept His Provision (6/26/13)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Hey yall, yesterday I had to go out of town for a medical board, I’m soliciting your prayers that the rulings are in my favor. Additionally, my heart was troubled today, for reasons that shall remain undisclosed. I ask for prayers of strength and peace. I also ask that you will pray for my brother LaKerry Jr.; his concerns are also unspoken, but I ask that you pray for him with urgency as the Spirit leads. "There is no lack for my God supplieth all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” derived from Philippians 4:19. (Capps, 1976, p. 154). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House.

Philippians 4:19 says, “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”We can trust that God will always meet our needs. Whatever we need on Earth He will always supply, even if it is the courage to face death as Paul did. Whatever we need in Heaven He will supply. We must remember, however, the difference between our wants and our needs. Most people want to feel good and avoid discomfort or pain. We may not get all that we want. By trusting in Christ, our attitudes and appetites can change from wanting everything to accepting his provision and power to live for Him” (The Life Application Study Bible New International Version. (1991). Philippians Chapter 4 - Footnotes (p. 2154). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.). The more we fill our spirits with God’s Word, the more we are transformed by the renewing of our minds – our minds will be renewed by the Word of God.

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Father we ask that you will lift up LaKerry Jr. and Tylesha according to your will: mend any broken bonds; deliver them from all heartache and pain; provide a clear and concise revelation of your will for their individual lives; provide them with peace where there is discomfort, and strength in their weakness; guide them to their ultimate destiny according to your Word and your will Father. Place in us discernment to know our needs from our wants. We ask that Jesus will intercede for us and ensure that our prayers are presented to the Lord according to our true need. We thank you for redemption, restoration, deliverance, salvation, and for the ability to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. We claim defeat over the enemy, and thank you for our ability to use your Word as the stabilizing force in our lives, to claim and accept the authority to rebuke the rulers of the darkness of this world; through the words of our mouths, we take back everything the devil has stolen from us. We declare now that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper, and we bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us. Give Cheerfully (6/24/13)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Hope yall had great weekend. Praise God we are blessed to see another week. I saw a post from an old co-worker of mine on Facebook that kind of troubled me. Although it was posted on an international website, I am not so sure how private his issue may be. So, I will just ask that you pray for Alan Yao and his family, as the Spirit leads. Also, please pray for new mothers and fathers, and those who are soon-to-be, that God will provide their paternal and maternal instincts immediately after birth. Thank you. As a reminder, please do not forget the others we have mentioned recently, as well as those who may request special prayer, or those you may have thought strongly about: Carol, Tony, Heather, Antonio, Nicole K., Nicole W., Hair, Carmela, and Keona. For Material Needs:
"With what measure I mete, it is measured unto me. I sow bountifully, therefore I reap bountifully. I give cheerfully, and my God has made all grace abound toward me and I having all sufficiency of all things do abound to all good works,” derived from II Corinthians 9:6-8. (Capps, 1976, p. 154). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House.

II Corinthians 9:6-8 says, “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’ And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” I like this passage. You ever have someone do something nice for you out of the “kindness of their heart,” yet every chance they get, they throw in your face how much money they spent on you, or compare what monetary things you have done for them, to those they have done for you? Doesn’t it make you wish they had never done anything nice for you at all? It does for me... I put special thought into the gifts I get for my loved ones, and although it gives me pleasure to see their happiness upon receiving said gift, I do NOT expect anything in return. On the other hand, giving to my loved ones does NOT render the same delight as giving to a stranger in need. Regardless, this scripture reminds us that we will be blessed according to our good works – what we put into life, we will get in return. It also warns us to do things with a cheerful heart and with trust in our God. It is my interpretation that this passage is relative to the book of Leviticus, which speaks about God’s people giving 10% of their EARNINGS back to the Lord. In biblical times, obviously, that was a reference to cattle, grain, and such. Today, we work for money; therefore it is our tradition to give back 10% of our paycheck, for those who do tithe. Me personally, when I am a faithful tither, I notice that I am always blessed in good measure, and am often blessed unexpectedly and abundantly. However, the times that I fell off the wagon out of fear of paying my mortgage, utilities, and other important miscellaneous bills, I would actually find myself in increased financial binds. For over a year, I did not pay tithes because I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to pay all of my bills. Then, I found out that someone who had mocked my tithing for many years, had began to form a relationship with Christ, and in-turn began to tithe himself. I was encouraged, and resumed faithful tithing. In a short time, I found myself ahead of my bills at times, and my bills have lowered significantly. My mortgage was never extremely high, but it decreased from $1,078, to $949, a blessing in itself... The jest of it all is, I give back to my Lord in faith and without expectation, and in return, my bills are always paid in full. I am even able to help others financially, from time-to-time. Don’t be ashamed if all you have to offer is a penny, or just your services. Giving back does NOT have to be limited to monetary contributions; if your talent is singing, use your voice to bless others; if your talent is drawing, use your art to bless others; if your talent is writing, use your words to bless others; whatever your talent(s), use it/them to be a blessing to others.

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Father we ask that you will lift up Alan and his family according to your will; mend any broken bonds, and heal all wounds. Lord we would also like to lift up all the new mothers and fathers, and those who will be fathers and mothers soon; help shape them into great parents, and establish their maternal/paternal instincts right away. We ask Father that you do not forget those whom we have lifted previously in prayer – you know their individual needs and desires, bless them as you see fit. Place in us a cheerful and giving heart, that we may use whatever talents, services, and/or whatever monetary capabilities available, to freely and willingly bless others. We thank you for redemption, restoration, deliverance, salvation, and for the ability to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. Today we deny the right of the enemy to exist in our lives. We praise you for our ability to use your Word as the stabilizing force in our lives, to claim and accept the authority to rebuke the rulers of the darkness of this world; through the words of our mouths, we take back everything the devil has stolen from us. We declare now that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper, and we petition defeat over our adversaries, binding every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our claim to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
