Erica Campbell's "I Luh God" (A Response)

I was going to post the actual video but I saw this video and ol'girl is out of pocket. I'll admit that every time I hear an urban Gospel song, I am torn when it doesn't sound like traditional music. However, I'm young, and the reason young folks keep listening to secular music is because of their lack of knowledge about urban and contemporary Gospel that is more appealing. But uh ruh, how in the heck are you  telling Erica Campbell that she's demonic and not a Christian when you're judging her on a social network? How Christian does that make you? Who sets the standard for Gospel music? Tradition, but the Bible is NOT a book of tradition, rather principles. The music should be about its message, and the true "garbage" that is played in media outlets have messages of disrespect, demeaning and belittling genders, greed, defamation of character, true demonic lyrics, and yet she has the audacity to criticize a Gospel artist who for me, was a pioneer aside from Kirk Franklin that made listening to Gospel music more enjoyable as a youth and even today. If we have something to listen to that has a similar style or genre yet with a positive and spiritual meaning, then it would make way more sense to fill our minds and childrens' minds with said listening. Heck cartoons are more outrageous than the trash on the radio, but I bet her kids or relatives' kids are allowed to watch them without being accused of disgrace to God. So because of Erica Campbell's sound is too close to secular music for your own comfort, you want to condemn, which attacks your own so-called righteous character, and that goes for anyone with similar disheartening things to say. If you don't like the song, don't listen to it. I don't care for rap but instead of condemning the artists on YouTube, I turns to Kirk Franklin's Praise on Sirius XM Radio and listen to music I like - Urban and Contemporary Gospel. God uses His people to get through to the lost, and without replacing the old with something new, then they are still in search of something in the wilderness. Our youthful generations like every secular artist you (talking about the girl in this video) mentioned, but if they knew more about all the urban and contemporary Gospel artists, then they would be able to replace the real "garbage" for REAL MESSAGES in the form of: Gospel Country, Gospel Rock/Metal, Gospel Rap, Gospel Hip Hop, Gospel Soul, Gospel Jazz, and so forth. For every secular genre of music, there are some AWESOME Gospel artists who rock the house with their similar styles yet powerful and spiritual message. Here are some of my favorites to name a few: Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, J. Moss, Isaac Carree, The Clark Sisters, Anthony Brown & group Therapy, Israel & New Breed, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, Canton Jones, James Fortune & Fiya, Kurt Carr, and Donald Lawrence... Someone needs to send that young lady a Bible because clearly she's missed its message. I'm not one to hit someone like her with a secular pun, but today I'll make an exception... As Tamar Braxton would say, "Get'cho life," because Erica Campbell surely has hers. #ILuhGod #EricaCampbell #UrbanGospelMusic
