Harvest Follows (12/19/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and praise be to God! So, I seriously need to start watching the news again. Last week I was unprepared for rain, then remember that incident on the 60 in which I moved only 0.5 miles in 3 hours? Well, had I watched the news on Thursday night, I would've been informed that the darn freeway was still closed on Friday. UGH! So, I watched the news that night and I thought my commute was bad, for me it takes an hour and a half to get to LA, but some folks who were stuck, took them 1 1/2 hours to get places that normally takes 7 minutes. For me, I feel everything happens for a reason. I hate traffic though and I get road rage, however, nothing a lil classical or Gospel music can't soothe. I'm all over the place, right? So, does anyone know what news is on at 3:00 in the morning? On a more serious note, there are so many people who have placed in my ear a need for prayer, from my sorors, to my amicae friends, my family, friends, and indirect associates; I will leave everyone unnamed and ask that you pray as the Spirit leads. Anyway, Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

God's word ALWAYS works, but spiritual law can work for or against you, depending on how YOU apply it. Sometimes we look at other people whom we stereotype as wicked or evil, and we wonder why things are always looking up for them or how good things always seem to make their way to the selfish, arrogant, jerk's doorstep. The difference between the successful wicked man and the kind-hearted poverty stricken man, is that the evil-hearted BELIEVE they WILL prosper; they build a faith image inside themselves by the words they speak. It's not that they are bragging, it's that they simply believe in prosperity and practice it, whether they are aware of it or not, they have applied spiritual law effectively. The words YOU speak are seeds that produce after their kind. Just as sure as they are planted, you can be equally sure a harvest will follow. Galatians 6:7 (NIV) says, "...A man reaps what he sows." "I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours" (Mark 11:23-24). We must confess the Word of God continuously, until it becomes one with us - until we know God's word like the back of our hands; God's word may appear to be unbelievable at the time being, but once it becomes a part of us, then it will become true to us. The more we continue to speak and pray God's truth into existence, the stronger it becomes formed into our spirit, breaking into a realm of faith that we never knew existed. Remember that repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we enter into your presence with thanksgiving, humbly submitting our praise and gratefulness of your mercies and everlasting grace. We thank you for deliverance, restoration, the peace that passeth all understanding, for strength, and the ability to discern your will over satan's manipulative schemes. We thank you for an eye opening revelation of your power, your individual message and mission for us specifically. We thank you for the authority you have given us in our words to claim victory over the enemy, and to claim positive outcomes into our lives and the lives of others. Lord you know the individuals whom we are directly linked to, and those we are indirectly connected to, by way of fellowship and word of mouth; bless each one specifically in accordance to their need and your will. We thank you for another opportunity to share your Gospel, and share our blessings with others, that we may always bring honor and glory to your name. We thank you that although the obstacle may seem too big, we know that with faith as small as a mustard seed, we can have assurance that we can demand that problem be removed. We thank you for allowing us the ability to deny the enemy, his evil spirits, and his ailments the right to exist in our lives. We thank you for your continued protection and for forgiveness. We ask that ultimately Father, thy will be done in our individual lives. We thank you for removing the covers of every circumstance, to shed light on our various situations. This is our affirmation of faith, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Faith Principle (12/15/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! We're almost at the end of our week, so plan responsibly. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome.

Every faith principle, and every spiritual law that God set forth in His word was for your benefit; it was designed to put you over in life, not to put you in bondage. But satan has set out to pervert the law of God (Word of God) in the minds and hearts of God's people to the point where it looks as though God is behind destruction, confusion, illness, disease, poverty, and chaos. Yesterday we talked about the correct application of spiritual law and the faith principle; satan has caused incorrect application of certain spiritual laws that defeat so many at the game of life. God's word ALWAYS works, but spiritual law can work for or against you, depending on how YOU apply itProverbs 4:24 says, "Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips." "The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted" (Proverbs 10:24). God's word says, "speak those things that be not, as though they were" (Romans 4:17). His word says, "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them" (Matthew 15:17-18). The only ability the devil has over you is to DECEIVE you. So if he can get you to believe his lies and confess them, in turn he gets you to bind your blessings from God, and he places a void on your prayers, making them ineffective. Matthew 16:19 says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." QUIT agreeing with the enemy and TAKE back what he has stolen from you! "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). The word says, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24)(Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Lord we thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for the peace that passeth all understand. Father God we thank you for the knowledge that satan is a deceiver, and for the ability in our words alone to defeat the enemy. We thank you for your continued love, grace, and protection. We thank you for the ability to smile when we are hurting. We thank you for revealing what darkness has kept in the shade. We thank you for providing clarity in the midst of satan's confusion. We thank you for the victory over sin, defeat over the enemy, and deliverance from a heavy load of burdens. We thank you for the strength to keep on keeping on, and the power of our words to make the devil flee. We thank you for reversing all the negative and restoring complete positivity into every facet of our lives. We thank you for keeping us filled with the Spirit, that the words that depart our mouth, no longer posses corruption, rather, our words now speak life into every circumstance. These things we claim and thank you for, in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Correct Application (12/14/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! Today I had an appointment in LA that I missed, because it took 3 hours to drive 0.5 miles, only to be detoured off the freeway without a detour route. The worse part was, I had to use the restroom. When I finally reached an exit and got to a restroom, someone had pooped all over the toilet. GROSS!

The things that are seen are temporal... "So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever" (II Corinthians 4:18). The word "temporal" means subject to change. The circumstances of life, your position in life, the problems you face in life are very real to you because you see them, feel them, hear them, but thank God, the very fact that you can see and touch them means they are subject to change. A correct application of spiritual law will change even the most impossible situation. But, to incorrectly apply spiritual laws will hold you in bondage and cause the circumstance to grow worse. EVERY faith principle, and EVERY spiritual law that God set forth in His word is for Your benefit, designed to put You over in life, NOT to hold you back or put you in bondage. Continually confess that although your problem seems to have gotten worse "thank you Father, in the name of JESUS, my burden has been REMOVED." There is creative power within Your words, so You must learn to use Your words wisely. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for the sacrifice of your only Son to save our sins and provide us with a super natural healing that people of this world cannot comprehend. We thank you for taming our tongue that the words of our mouth may always be pleasing in your sight, and will always produce positive and favorable outcomes in every circumstance. Lord we thank you that you are NOT like man; you love us despite our downfalls, despite past doubts and frustrations in your abilities, you love us and forgive us unconditionally, so we thank you and praise your glorious name Father. Lord we thank you for complete healing that has restored our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical state of being. We thank you for joyful attitudes in the midst of adversity, cheerful moods in the face of the enemy, peace in our storms, and comfort through our trials. We thank you for your continued protection over each of us individually, our families, our friends, our homes, our modes of transportation, and those homes and families in our surrounding areas. We thank you for the ability to smile even though our mountain appears to be too big, but we thank you that it will all work out for the better, according to your perfect plan. We praise your name, thanking you that our burdens, debts, and obstacles are no longer holding us hostage. We thank you for releasing any form of bondage holding us back from a deeper relationship with you, and for giving us the freedom to raise our hands humbly in praise to you. We thank you for the victory over sin, satan, and his demons, in the matchless name of your Son Jesus Christ, this is our affirmation of faith, Amen!

Spoken Words (12/13/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! I hope yall are having a great week so far, if not, then it's time for you to count your blessings. Remember, someone has it worse off than you, so even if your mood is weary, take a moment to thank God anyhow. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome.

Spoken Words program your spirit (heart) to success or defeat. Words are containers, they carry faith or fear, and they produce after their kind. Romans 10:17 (NIV) says, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." Faith enhances when you hear yourself quoting, speaking, and saying the things that God's word says; you will be more inclined to receive God's word into your heart by hearing yourself say it, rather than hearing it from someone else. When you confess the Word of God, say it aloud, or at least loud enough for you to hear yourself speak; "It is a scientific application of the wisdom of God to the psychological makeup of man" (Capps, C., 1976). If we put more trust in God, we would be able to apply the authority in our words to activate prosperity, healing, and other blessings that we ask God for; in the same manner Jesus healed the sick and performed miracles, with faith even as small as a mustard seed, we'd be able to move every obstacle.God gave YOU authority, and His creative power in Word form; the power is in Your words, and it works. God's creative power is produced by the heart, formed by the tongue, and released out of the mouth in the form of WORDS. Learn to operate in the ABILITY OF GOD and release that ability IN YOU, by the FAITH FILLED WORDS of Your mouth. DENY the right of the enemy to exist in your life and release the ability of God IN YOU, by the AUTHORITY OF YOUR WORDS; it is through Your very own words that You establish failure or success in your life. There is creative power within Your words, so ACCEPT His message of DELIVERANCE, and learn to use Your words wisely. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for giving the strength and faith in our ability to use our words to produce favorable outcomes. We thank you for redemption, and for the ability to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. Today we deny the right of the enemy to exist in our lives. We thank you for restoring the years that we've spent in tears Father God. We thank you for removing the heavy load that we once tried to carry alone. We thank you for deliverance from pain, suffering, debts, struggles, and worries. Father God we thank you for the ability to stand firm through the test of our trials. We thank you for the discernment to know when the enemy is afoot, and for the strength to take control through our faith-filled words. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper. We thank you for your continued blessings of protection, and we thank you for the peace that passeth all understanding. This is our affirmation of faith Father God, we submit our claim to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!

World Overcomer (12/12/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! I hope yall had a wonderful weekend. It's Monday, and it's raining, what a combination. I was so unprepared this morning, luckily I carry my emergency cheapo umbrella in my backpack, and I have been wearing Timberlands lately instead of my crocks, so no wet feet today, thank God. You know what, I have a praise report. Hallelujah Father, I am grateful. By the power of the tongue and the authority God has given me in my words, He has done great things for me. I haven't really been very active with my sorority lately, or doing anything for myself aside from homework for school, due to my debt to income ratio. But I can only praise God that somehow this past two months, although I may not have had extra pennies to spend off G.P., I have paid all of my bills and some bills that I could've swore I hadn't paid for, were paid. ONLY MY GOD! Thank you Jesus! Anyway, enjoy the rest of your week and continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome.

YOU are a world OVERCOMER. The Word says, "For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith" (I John 5:4). The term defeat in this verse is translated as "overcometh" in the KJV. CONFESS it right NOW. "I have overcome the world, because I am born of God." The word of God conceived in Your spirit, formed by Your tongue, and spoken out of Your mouth becomes power that will work for You because You are saying what You have. The Word says, "speak those things that be not as thou they were" (Romans 4:17) and Mark 11:24 says, "I tell you, you can pray foranything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours." To believe is to have faith in; so when we follow God's teachings we will be transformed, and so shall the desires of our heart begin to fall inline with God's will, thus whatever we pray for in faith will be granted. How you feel, and how you look has NOTHING to do with what God's Truth says; "Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world."Praise God that You are a world overcomer, His word says it, so CONFESS this, BELIEVE this, and ACCEPT this to be true in Your life, and see how the obstacles of the world become less of a burden in your sight and more of a lesson; accepting God's word as truth will transform the roles, You will NO longer be overcome by trials, instead You will TRIUMPH over the adversary ALWAYS. Like every confession we have covered in this SOD series revolving around the book, The Tongue - A Creative Force by Charles Capps, Your transformation will NOT happen overnight; You will NOT all of a sudden be transformed by the renewing of your mind. What we've gained from this series is the key to success through our very own words; God gave us the authority in our words to claim defeat or victory, which will YOU accept as true?DAILY confessions and studying God's word is what programs your spirit/heart to trust in God's promise. Acceptance of God's truth comes only after Your spirit receives God's word as the final authority. Either you trust in the Lord, or you don't. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we praise your Holy name, thanking you for life, health, and strength. Lord God we thank you for our goings and comings, our ups and our downs, fore we know that with every good and bad moment in life comes a testimony that is essential to someone else's growth. We thank you for providing us with the much needed revelation that our spirit has been yearning for. We thank you for keeping us filled with your presence and for keeping us surrounded by your angels and Holy Spirit at all times, that we may be protected from the adversary's attack, and from all forms of hurt, harm, danger, and evil. We thank you for picking us up when we have fallen. Lord we thank you for blessing us individually, according to our specific need and your will for our lives. We bless your name Father and will praise you all the days of our lives. Father God we thank you for providing safe travel graces for those of us traveling for the holidays, for opening the eyes and heart of the lost, for providing clarity to the confused, and comfort for those suffering. We acknowledge you as our Almighty Lord and Savior, and we thank you. This is our affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
