Happy Sabbath everyone, I pray that all has been
going well. It’s been a while since our last fellowship, and I have missed yall.
Since we last met up, I have decided to no longer operate an in-home child
care, and have had a child of my own – a son named Josias Khari (born 8/31/2016).
He was born premature due to intrauterine growth restriction, which means I
didn’t gain enough body mass for him to continue growing in my womb past 36
weeks. But he is healthy and active like his parents. I haven’t yet gotten the
hang of balancing everyday life tasks and motherhood, hence my delay in SOW
production. Additionally, I found out about my pregnancy around the same time I
had intended to re-up my non-profit organization’s activities. As you can see,
everything except motherhood was placed on hold. Although I cannot make a
promise that I will be consistent here on out, I will promise to make stronger
efforts. PRAYER REQUESTS: I want to be able to balance my
life, my ministry, my non-profit organization, my services, and motherhood
according to the will of God; I know for sure that I am here to help others, I
just need to manage my time more collectively and effectively. Remember to also
pray for one another, thanking Yahweh for the victory while refraining
from confessing the problem caused by the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your
desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome (refer to the book The Tongue – A Creative Force,
by Charles Capps). ANNOUNCEMENTS: In lieu of new
motherhood and even prior to, my non-profit organization, Fostering Mind, Body, and Soul Incorporated, is in need of NEW and DEDICATED members and volunteers, as
well as material contributions and/or monetary donations to assist in our
day-to-day operations. I CANNOT run this organization alone… I NEED YOUR HELP.
If you or anyone you know, may be interested in joining this cause, please
reach out as soon as possible, so that we can resume normal activities (helping
those in need in our local communities). To arrange a donation or contribution,
contact me at any time via email or phone and/or through the PayPal
link located on our website (listed below under Join Our Cause).
Another way to contribute is through the Ralph's/Food 4 Less Community Contribution
Program (details available upon request). Don't forget that you may also give
back by joining my team of volunteers and members for a permanent role
or for specific events (for more info, contact me). Your continued
support is always appreciated. Please keep spreading the word. #SOW
HEALTHY LIVING TIPS:
Change begins within… I will not lie, I do make excuses sometimes and I don’t work
out my hardest at others, however, I can NOT be disappointed in the results I
don’t see, when I haven’t put in the work to achieve the desired result. And
neither can you. I turned part of my garage into a gym, and sometimes workout
in my living room. A gym membership is NOT necessary to get your workout on.
Being pregnant or having an ailment due to obesity is NOT an excuse to avoid exercising.
Rather, those should be reasons to be more physically active. I worked out my
entire pregnancy; I rested when I was tired and quit if it seemed to strain my
belly, otherwise, having a healthy baby and healthy pregnancy were my reasons
to keep on keeping on. And if you’re obese and suffering from pain or other
ailments, you should at least try to walk until you can increase your activity.
FREE workout routines that can be done in the comfort of your own home with
little to no equipment or in-home equipment alternatives, and FREE meal plans
and motivation, can be found all over YouTube for men, women, beginners, the advanced,
people with ailments that may hinder their capabilities, pregnant women, and
even children… NO EXCUSES! "If you're looking for a sign to go workout,
this is it. GO NOW" (http://Hasfit.com).

BE ENCOURAGED: NEVER
lose sight of God in the midst of adversity… Ponder this: "… If
God forgives us, we must forgive ourselves. Otherwise, it is almost like
setting up ourselves as a higher tribunal than Him" (C.S. Lewis). I'm
no theological scholar, and even if I were a pastor or an expert in God's
word, I would still advise you NEVER
to take someone else's word as solid truth; "Study to show thyself approved" (II Timothy 2:15), and CHALLENGE EVERYTHING by comparing it to the Word of
God. If what you see, hear or read does NOT fall in line with the Word of God,
then it is NOT truth... The rest of this day isn't promised, let
alone tomorrow, so why not strengthen your faith TODAY? Feed
your body healthy nutrition, be cautious of what things you allow your eyes,
ears, and spirit to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.) so that
YOU can start anew and become a better you NOW, not later. Have a
blessed rest of the week.
Yahweh, please clear our minds and open our eyes, ears, and
hearts so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this
fellowship. In the name of Yeshua, Amen!
PASSAGE – JOHN 10:4-5: “And when He putteth forth his own sheep, He
goeth before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice. And a
stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the
voice of strangers.”

REFLECTIONS:
So, Trump won the election, how many of you are happy with that? Me, I am indifferent, because
I believe that what is in God’s perfect will is what it is regardless. Meaning,
there isn’t a point of pouting, rioting, or boycotting the decision, because
what is to happen during his term(s) is purposeful to God’s divine plan. I say
that to say this, the end may not be
right around the corner, face it, it’s been a predicted “end” almost every
century, and we’re still waiting for an apocalypse. However, I strongly believe
that some of the more serious events in the Book of Revelation are upon us.
That being said, we NEED to be preparing ourselves for the moment Yahweh calls
us home or for His return.
I bet you can recognize a loved one’s voice
without seeing their face, right? How
good are you at discerning the Lord’s? I’ll be the first to admit that I
sometimes can’t determine whether or not I am acting out of selfish desire, or
am driven by the Spirit to make a move. That’s a problem if we cannot
distinguish when and what the Lord is telling us to do in our lives. It means
that we have no concept of “stranger danger.” Thus, we are vulnerable to the
adversary’s shenanigans. In John 10:4-5 however, we see that the Lord
is our shepherd and as His sheep, we should “know His voice.” Without strong prayer (meaningful and effective) and bible
study, it is difficult to develop a close relationship to the Father through
His Son, and furthermore hinders our ability to “know” who the Lord is, or vice
versa. John
17:3 says that “eternal life” comes in
knowing Christ; “and
this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom thou hast sent” (refer also to John 14:6). The Word also says, “On judgment day many will say to me,
‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and
performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will
reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ Anyone who
listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house
on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise
and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on
bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t
obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the
rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse
with a mighty crash” (Matthew 7:22-27, NLT). So just because we are going to church on our respective
days of worship, ministering to folks, actively in service to others, or praying
here and there, if we are NOT
truly adhering to the will of God above our own, then we cannot say with all
honesty that we “know” Yahweh, and if He returned today, He would NOT say that
He knew us either; the time we spend ALONE with God is what He
honors. Why? Because that which we do
for God in private is clearly NOT for selfish gain; we don’t pray and serve
without boasting for other people’s praise or recognition.
The time we spend praying to the Lord and
studying His Word without distraction – alone – is what helps us develop that
closeness that fills the voids we keep trying to fill with things and people of
this world. God honors this type of time and effort,
because it is genuinely driven by the Spirit and not self. To grow is to change, and change
requires consistency. It’s by far a difficult task with all the
distractions of life, but when we designate even only a few moments of our time
to spend with Yahweh alone, He honors and blesses us. Try it with me; set an
alarm if you have to. Or, that moment you realize you have a moment to take a
deep breath without anyone or anything interfering, take that moment to praise
and pray to God, or even pick up the Word to read a verse or two. Then sit back
and watch how you begin to transform. You CANNOT say that you truly KNOW the Lord if POSITIVE and SPIRITUAL
CHANGE never presents itself in your life.
POWER IN PRAYER:
Yahweh, we thank you for every blessing seen and unrecognized; reveal
your many blessings, making them known to us, and create in us new hearts that
are grateful and faithful to your will. Cause us to love you more, to desire to
seek you more intimately, to adhere to your statutes and turn away from selfish
gain. Baptize us daily with your indwelling Spirit, and make us take heed to
His promptings, being careful not to grieve Him. Help us to forgive others as
well as ourselves, as you have so graciously forgiven us. Ultimately, give us
the desire and strength to turn away from our sin, and to let go of the past
that binds us; lift any veils that hold us captive to the adversary or hinders
our growth. Lead us, your church, and our world leaders to become
Spirit-filled, and to better serve you by spreading your Gospel. Keep us on
track as we try to lead the lost back to you. Keep us disciplined to achieve
success as you desire of us. Help our world leaders, congress and senate to
make appropriate and effective decisions for our nation of individuals. Bless
this country as a whole, according to your will. Bless each of us individually,
providing the strength, courage, discipline, organization, commitment,
motivation, and discernment to balance our personal, professional, and
spiritual lives, daily. As you bless us individually, also bless our loved ones
and even our enemies; provide revelations and provide your awareness. Deliver
us from strongholds, transform and convert us 100% according to your will, and
achieve in us prayer warriors who are able to pray game changing prayers –
prayers that change people, change outcomes, and help your will to manifest.
This is our trusted prayer, we submit to you in the matchless name of Yeshua,
Amen!
Very Respectfully,
