Be Healed (11/3/11)

Greetings Everyone,
So, I know how much yall love to hear about my infamous naps, but this one tops the cake... Despite the fact that I have an office in my home, and I have a desk in my room, I still conduct all of my business either in bed or on the couch using my laptop. I found this website that offers free self-hypnosis downloads to help with various things, concentration, relaxation, anxiety, etc. Don't judge me, LOL. So, last night as I was preparing to type up the SOD at or around 8 o'clock, I decided to play one of the hypnosis downloads as I typed; it's not really a distraction, it's soothing, or so I thought. Allz I know is, at 2:33 am this morning, I woke up in the sitting position, with my laptop still on my lap. So I closed up my MacBook, and turned over to finish the last 10 minutes before my alarm went off. But yall are all too familiar with my sleep habits, so I'm sure yall know that my body very much appreciated a good restful night's sleep. Now let's focus, I have an unspoken prayer request for my cousin LaToya as well as myself, God knows our concerns; we need specific clarity, and we need Him to reveal it in a manner that He knows will make sense to us individually. We don't want to be confused, on the fence, or uncertain of whether we are following our personal rationale, or if God's Spirit is guiding our conscious to those conclusions. We need an immediate revelation, and we thank you in advance for praying the answer with us. Continue to pray for one another and speak your desired outcome into every situation. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):

"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

We live our lives learning traditions, and understanding things based on man's logic, the world's rationale, and on tangible evidence. So most of us agree with people who claim their sickness, illness, disease, or injury because it is what we can witness with our eyes. If we are the victim of such burdens, we don't put enough practice in our faith to believe that we can be healed by God from a given condition through our words, nor do we advise it, despite God telling us in His word... "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24), "Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well..." (James 5:15), "He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed" (I Peter 2:24). We say that we are Christians (Christ-like), yet our behavior, attitudes, and actions appear to be of this world and NOTHING like an image of Christ. We claim to be believers, yet have NOT faith as small as a mustard seed, because if we did, we could say to our problems "be thou removed" and they will be no more. We can claim healing in the name of Jesus and asthma, diabetes, cancer, tumors, and other ailments can be removed and health restored. I don't know if I told yall this, but when my brother was a teen, he had been diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, so my mom added him to the prayer list, and months later there were NO traces of the diabetes. Of course that doesn't mean I'm advocating random acts of foolishness, nor am I encouraging you to place yourself in compromising situations, to later act on "faith" in an attempt to avoid unfavorable results; for every action is a consequence, so ACT in accordance to God's guidelines. Some may not be strong enough in their faith to claim healing through prayer, which is where medicine and doctors here on Earth come in;regardless of your healing preference, FAITH is the key factor here. Without it, we cannot set into action God's ability in our lives, nor the authority in our words to claim healing, or any other positive outcomes for that matter. If you believe (have faith) that you cannot do something, more than likely, you will fail or do very poorly at it. But when you trust (have confidence) that you can do something, you WILL accomplish it. Jesus gave us the authority in His name to claim/accept our healing, prosperity, success, peace, happiness, and DESIRED results in EVERY circumstance. From our list of daily confessions from the book The Tongue - A Creative Force, written by Charles Capps (1976), this is one of my favorites; recite this aloud or at a whisper, loud enough for you to hear yourself speak, at least 3 times a day and see how things start to shift in your life: "Jesus gave me the authority to use His name. And that which I bind on Earth is bound in Heaven, and that which I loose on Earth is loosed in Heaven. Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind the principalities, the powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world. I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective me in the matchless name of Jesus, Amen!" Remember the key here is to have FAITH in YOUR ability.

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for giving us back the strength and faith in our ability to use our words to produce favorable outcomes. We thank you that we are redeemed, and are able to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. Today we deny the right of the enemy to exist in our lives. We thank you for removing the heavy load that we once tried to carry alone. Hallelujah Father, we thank you that you are able. Father God we come to you thanking you for providing both LaToya and Tylesha with their immediate, specific, and completely clear revelations on the individual concerns in their heart; you know their issue and we claim clarity and victory in the name of Jesus. We thank you for giving us another opportunity today to strengthen our relationship with you. We thank you for delivering us from past worries, struggles, pain, suffering, poverty, stress, depression, confusion, and loneliness. Father God we thank you for the ability to stand firm, even in the test of trials. We thank you for the discernment to know when the enemy is afoot, the strength to take control through our faith-filled words, for your continued blessings of protection, and we thank you for the peace that passeth all understanding. These are our affirmations of faith Father God, we submit them to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!

~~ Tylesha ~~
"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8)
