Spirit Words (11/1/11)

Greetings Everyone,
I was making great timing yesterday... had the bulk of my homework completed by Sunday, so that all I had to do was submit it on Monday and BAM! Technical difficulties. Me being the un-savvy technical genius that I am, couldn't figure out how to remove the "mark-ups" from the corrections I had made and accepted to my team paper. Luckily I checked the paper before submitting it, but it took me hours to figure out how to remove those "mark-ups", because no one in my immediate circle owns a freaking MacBook. Good job Tye! Anyway, I didn't even finish getting all my work submitted until about 11pm and I had started around 8pm, sucks huh? Well, better luck next time. I hope yall had a wonderful weekend, and I pray that yall will allow the rest of this week to be spent giving honor and praise to God. Continue to pray for one another and speak your desired outcome into every situation. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

The creative ability of man comes through his spirit. When man has God's word abundantly abiding in his heart and speaks it forth in faith, he breathes life into God's word and it becomes a living substance; words spoken from your spirit will work for you the same way they worked for God in he beginning. "The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life" (John 6:63). Jesus said His words are "spirit and life," He spoke Spirit words; the word of God which was abundantly in His heart, helped Him to release faith in word form, speaking life into existence by the words from His mouth. Throughout the book of John, Mark, and Luke, Jesus healed the crippled and resurrected the dead through His Spirit words; that same Spirit raised Him from the dead. Romans 8:11 says, "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." God's ability to work on your behalf begins with YOUR words spoken in FAITH. The ability already resides within you, YOU just need to set it into motion through Spirit words; the Word of God Conceived in Your spirit, Formed by Your tongue, and Spoken out of Your mouth. Start saying what you have; speak only your desired results into existence and witness the gradual reversal of negative into positive. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We praise you for your mercies and grace, and for your love and forgiveness. Father God we thank you for the ability in our spirit to release faith-filled words that reverse the negativity that we've spoken into our own lives. We thank you for the Spirit words that you have guided us to form with our tongue, and speak from our mouth, that we may speak favorable outcomes into every situation. We thank you for the clarity and peace of understanding amidst our current trials. We thank you for the desire to continue to smile and praise you through our downfalls. We thank you for every circumstance that helps to mold us, and prepare our testimonies to share your Gospel with others. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper. We thank you that despite how big the enemy tries to make a problem appear, we know that you have already claimed the victory. We thank you now for forcing the devil to flee from our lives, and for removing every obstacle, bind, and burden that has held us back from a personal relationship with you, individual and spiritual growth, and prosperity. These things we affirm in the name of Jesus, Amen!
