Binding and Loosing (12/10/11 - Friday Make-up)

Greetings Everyone,
Sorry about yesterday yall, had a migraine and slept it off since I was also quite tired. I had drove into work yesterday, and I knew that I would be staying the weekend at my parents', so I had to drop of my pets before I went into work. I got all the way to the 105 and started dozing off. Praise God I made it to my parents', but when I pulled up into the driveway, I fell asleep in the yard with the car running. When I woke up it was 15 minutes after 6am so I had to rush to get my pets out of the car and into the house and I had to call work to tell them I was running late, technically I was already late. SMH... I got my iPad2 to help me get better rest at night, but now I am addicted to words with friends and feel obligated to submit at least one word to each of the 8 active games I am playing before I call it a night. Shame on me, right? I'll force myself to stop though. Anyway, continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refrain from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

Matthew 16:19 (NIV) says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” What God said is already established. "Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven" (Psalm 119:89). God's word is unchanging, He will never altar what He has saidPsalm 89:34 says, "No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said." God gave us the authority in our words to establish good or evil, positive or negative, and desired or unfavorable results into existence. The power of binding and loosing is ours here on Earth. Whose words will You establish on Earth? I figure some of us may be wondering what that actually means. So, for those of us who aren't familiar with the terms binding and loosing, let's take a moment to explore those concepts a lil; binding would be using the authority of Your words to claim defeat over the enemy or any obstacle, causing those things and people who target you, to no longer be effective against you. In this same instance, You have the same power in Your words to loose the strongholds that have once held you in bondage, and to release God's ability to work favorably in Your life. A lack of faith will cause us to loose the enemy's ability to hinder our lives, and bind our prosperity by our very own words. However, we also have the power to loose God's ability and bind the enemy so that the adversary has no more bearing in our lives. By the words of Your mouth, You have the authority and ability to loose evil or good, and to bind God or the adversary"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24). (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for our goings and comings, the good and bad moments of life. We thank you for our failures and triumphs, because we know that all these things have enhanced our growth and influenced our relationship with you for the better. We thank you for the strength to keep moving forward, the ability to make the enemy flee, and the authority in our words to claim healing, peace, deliverance, restoration, and salvation. We thank you that in the name of Jesus, we can claim these things and receive them through faith. We thank you for the victory over our battles, as well as those obstacles to come. We thank you for success in your eyes Father, success in living a life that falls in line with your word and will for us individually and specifically. We thank you for your continued protection, necessary revelations and endings, exciting beginnings, forgiveness, grace and mercy. We thank you for the ability and strength to forgive those who have wronged us, but to also forgive ourselves. Although illogical to the mind of flesh, we thank you for the ability to be like you and forget the matters of our lives and memories that cannot be changed or altered; we thank you for helping us to move forward. This is our confession in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

~~ Tylesha ~~
