Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! I hope yall had a wonderful weekend. It's Monday, and it's raining, what a combination. I was so unprepared this morning, luckily I carry my emergency cheapo umbrella in my backpack, and I have been wearing Timberlands lately instead of my crocks, so no wet feet today, thank God. You know what, I have a praise report. Hallelujah Father, I am grateful. By the power of the tongue and the authority God has given me in my words, He has done great things for me. I haven't really been very active with my sorority lately, or doing anything for myself aside from homework for school, due to my debt to income ratio. But I can only praise God that somehow this past two months, although I may not have had extra pennies to spend off G.P., I have paid all of my bills and some bills that I could've swore I hadn't paid for, were paid. ONLY MY GOD! Thank you Jesus! Anyway, enjoy the rest of your week and continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
YOU are a world OVERCOMER. The Word says, "For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith" (I John 5:4). The term defeat in this verse is translated as "overcometh" in the KJV. CONFESS it right NOW. "I have overcome the world, because I am born of God." The word of God conceived in Your spirit, formed by Your tongue, and spoken out of Your mouth becomes power that will work for You because You are saying what You have. The Word says, "speak those things that be not as thou they were" (Romans 4:17) and Mark 11:24 says, "I tell you, you can pray foranything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours." To believe is to have faith in; so when we follow God's teachings we will be transformed, and so shall the desires of our heart begin to fall inline with God's will, thus whatever we pray for in faith will be granted. How you feel, and how you look has NOTHING to do with what God's Truth says; "Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world."Praise God that You are a world overcomer, His word says it, so CONFESS this, BELIEVE this, and ACCEPT this to be true in Your life, and see how the obstacles of the world become less of a burden in your sight and more of a lesson; accepting God's word as truth will transform the roles, You will NO longer be overcome by trials, instead You will TRIUMPH over the adversary ALWAYS. Like every confession we have covered in this SOD series revolving around the book, The Tongue - A Creative Force by Charles Capps, Your transformation will NOT happen overnight; You will NOT all of a sudden be transformed by the renewing of your mind. What we've gained from this series is the key to success through our very own words; God gave us the authority in our words to claim defeat or victory, which will YOU accept as true?DAILY confessions and studying God's word is what programs your spirit/heart to trust in God's promise. Acceptance of God's truth comes only after Your spirit receives God's word as the final authority. Either you trust in the Lord, or you don't. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we praise your Holy name, thanking you for life, health, and strength. Lord God we thank you for our goings and comings, our ups and our downs, fore we know that with every good and bad moment in life comes a testimony that is essential to someone else's growth. We thank you for providing us with the much needed revelation that our spirit has been yearning for. We thank you for keeping us filled with your presence and for keeping us surrounded by your angels and Holy Spirit at all times, that we may be protected from the adversary's attack, and from all forms of hurt, harm, danger, and evil. We thank you for picking us up when we have fallen. Lord we thank you for blessing us individually, according to our specific need and your will for our lives. We bless your name Father and will praise you all the days of our lives. Father God we thank you for providing safe travel graces for those of us traveling for the holidays, for opening the eyes and heart of the lost, for providing clarity to the confused, and comfort for those suffering. We acknowledge you as our Almighty Lord and Savior, and we thank you. This is our affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
~~ Tylesha ~~
