Harvest Follows (12/19/11)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and praise be to God! So, I seriously need to start watching the news again. Last week I was unprepared for rain, then remember that incident on the 60 in which I moved only 0.5 miles in 3 hours? Well, had I watched the news on Thursday night, I would've been informed that the darn freeway was still closed on Friday. UGH! So, I watched the news that night and I thought my commute was bad, for me it takes an hour and a half to get to LA, but some folks who were stuck, took them 1 1/2 hours to get places that normally takes 7 minutes. For me, I feel everything happens for a reason. I hate traffic though and I get road rage, however, nothing a lil classical or Gospel music can't soothe. I'm all over the place, right? So, does anyone know what news is on at 3:00 in the morning? On a more serious note, there are so many people who have placed in my ear a need for prayer, from my sorors, to my amicae friends, my family, friends, and indirect associates; I will leave everyone unnamed and ask that you pray as the Spirit leads. Anyway, Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

God's word ALWAYS works, but spiritual law can work for or against you, depending on how YOU apply it. Sometimes we look at other people whom we stereotype as wicked or evil, and we wonder why things are always looking up for them or how good things always seem to make their way to the selfish, arrogant, jerk's doorstep. The difference between the successful wicked man and the kind-hearted poverty stricken man, is that the evil-hearted BELIEVE they WILL prosper; they build a faith image inside themselves by the words they speak. It's not that they are bragging, it's that they simply believe in prosperity and practice it, whether they are aware of it or not, they have applied spiritual law effectively. The words YOU speak are seeds that produce after their kind. Just as sure as they are planted, you can be equally sure a harvest will follow. Galatians 6:7 (NIV) says, "...A man reaps what he sows." "I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours" (Mark 11:23-24). We must confess the Word of God continuously, until it becomes one with us - until we know God's word like the back of our hands; God's word may appear to be unbelievable at the time being, but once it becomes a part of us, then it will become true to us. The more we continue to speak and pray God's truth into existence, the stronger it becomes formed into our spirit, breaking into a realm of faith that we never knew existed. Remember that repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, OklahomaHarrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we enter into your presence with thanksgiving, humbly submitting our praise and gratefulness of your mercies and everlasting grace. We thank you for deliverance, restoration, the peace that passeth all understanding, for strength, and the ability to discern your will over satan's manipulative schemes. We thank you for an eye opening revelation of your power, your individual message and mission for us specifically. We thank you for the authority you have given us in our words to claim victory over the enemy, and to claim positive outcomes into our lives and the lives of others. Lord you know the individuals whom we are directly linked to, and those we are indirectly connected to, by way of fellowship and word of mouth; bless each one specifically in accordance to their need and your will. We thank you for another opportunity to share your Gospel, and share our blessings with others, that we may always bring honor and glory to your name. We thank you that although the obstacle may seem too big, we know that with faith as small as a mustard seed, we can have assurance that we can demand that problem be removed. We thank you for allowing us the ability to deny the enemy, his evil spirits, and his ailments the right to exist in our lives. We thank you for your continued protection and for forgiveness. We ask that ultimately Father, thy will be done in our individual lives. We thank you for removing the covers of every circumstance, to shed light on our various situations. This is our affirmation of faith, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
