Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! We're almost at the end of our week, so plan responsibly. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
Every faith principle, and every spiritual law that God set forth in His word was for your benefit; it was designed to put you over in life, not to put you in bondage. But satan has set out to pervert the law of God (Word of God) in the minds and hearts of God's people to the point where it looks as though God is behind destruction, confusion, illness, disease, poverty, and chaos. Yesterday we talked about the correct application of spiritual law and the faith principle; satan has caused incorrect application of certain spiritual laws that defeat so many at the game of life. God's word ALWAYS works, but spiritual law can work for or against you, depending on how YOU apply it. Proverbs 4:24 says, "Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips." "The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted" (Proverbs 10:24). God's word says, "speak those things that be not, as though they were" (Romans 4:17). His word says, "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them" (Matthew 15:17-18). The only ability the devil has over you is to DECEIVE you. So if he can get you to believe his lies and confess them, in turn he gets you to bind your blessings from God, and he places a void on your prayers, making them ineffective. Matthew 16:19 says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." QUIT agreeing with the enemy and TAKE back what he has stolen from you! "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). The word says, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24). (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Prayer of the Day:
Lord we thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for the peace that passeth all understand. Father God we thank you for the knowledge that satan is a deceiver, and for the ability in our words alone to defeat the enemy. We thank you for your continued love, grace, and protection. We thank you for the ability to smile when we are hurting. We thank you for revealing what darkness has kept in the shade. We thank you for providing clarity in the midst of satan's confusion. We thank you for the victory over sin, defeat over the enemy, and deliverance from a heavy load of burdens. We thank you for the strength to keep on keeping on, and the power of our words to make the devil flee. We thank you for reversing all the negative and restoring complete positivity into every facet of our lives. We thank you for keeping us filled with the Spirit, that the words that depart our mouth, no longer posses corruption, rather, our words now speak life into every circumstance. These things we claim and thank you for, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
