Individual Works (6/5/12)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and praise be to God! Again, I'd like to solicit your donations in the form of toiletries, stationary, monetary contributions, and other resourceful items for my non-profit organization, FMBS Inc., for he purpose of putting together care packages for our deployed troops. In addition, we are still seeking interested individuals who would like to join our staff of volunteers, please bare in mind that your agreement to volunteering with my organization, does not obligate you to specific hours nor events. Please contact me ASAP to discuss any donations and/or volunteer service, thanks in advance. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

So, here's the deal yall, I still haven't quite figured out which part of the book we left off on in our "power of the tongue" series, derived from The Tongue - A Creative Force by Charles Capps. So, although I will be dabbling in the book, charge it to my brain and not my heart, if I retouch on topics we've already explored in our reading/series. Matter of fact, let me reiterate that repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right, therefore we should embrace whatever redundancy that transpires in our SODs... In the book of Proverbs, the twelfth chapter, we are reminded of the authority in our words; we have the ability in our very own words to speak life or death into existence. Now let's look at Joshua 1:8 which says, "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do." Again, we are shown that as individuals, prosperity and success begins with YOU, not him, her, or the next man, in fact, not even as the ChurchWe will be judged in the end by our INDIVIDUAL works, not as a team effort. So, STOP pointing the finger at others and START to APPLY God's word to Your daily life. Once You fully grasp and accept the concepts of the Word, then your actions, reactions, and most importantly, your words, will mimic that of the Lord. Therefore, everything that you think, do, and say, will be acceptable and honorable before the Father in Heaven, and naturally success and prosperity will follow, because you are no longer focused on self, rather you will be focused on God's will for you.

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for giving us back the strength and faith in our ability to use our words to produce favorable outcomes. We thank you for FMBS Inc.'s successful campaign to raise contributions to send care packages to our troops. We thank you for redemption, and for the ability to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. Today we deny the right of the enemy to exist in our lives. We thank you for restoring the years that we've spent in tears Father God. We thank you for removing the heavy load that we once tried to carry alone. We thank you for deliverance from pain, suffering, debts, struggles, and worries. Father God we thank you for the ability to stand firm through the test of our trials. We thank you for the discernment to know when the enemy is afoot, and for the strength to take control through our faith-filled words. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper. We thank you for your continued blessings of protection, and we thank you for the peace that passeth all understanding. This is our affirmation of faith Father God, we submit to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
