Reap Benefits (6/26/12)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory to God! I'm praying for consistency this week with the SOD, and for sufficient sleep. Surprisingly, I was in a profound mood yesterday as well as today, and can honestly say that I actually had a splendiferous day the past few days, for once. I can only attribute this attitude to God... it's such a blessing to experience elevated spirits without known reasons. Anyway, I want to remind yall to spread the word to ALL interested parties, to contact me ASAP with regard to the preparation and shipping of care packages to our deployed troops. Remember to REFRAIN from praying (confessing) the problem (unfavorable outcome), but ALWAYS speak (pray/confess) the answer (desired result) into existence. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."

In yesterday's lesson we were warned to take caution with the words we speak, being cautious about what we authorize things to do, because it is our faith that is behind our words of authority (Capps, 1976). The seeds that we sow with our mouth will produce harvest of its kind. Thus, if we are speaking negativity into existence, so shall we reap negative and unfavorable results. Proverbs 12:14 says, "Wise words bring many benefits, and hard work brings rewards." "...moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass" (Proverbs 16:30 ~ KJV)(Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Harrison House (pp.143). Tulsa, OK: Harrison House.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for our goings and comings, the good and bad moments of life. We thank you for our failures and triumphs Father, because we know that all these things have enhanced our growth and influenced our relationship with you for the better. We thank you for the strength to keep moving forward, the ability to make the enemy flee, and the authority in our words to claim healing, peace, deliverance, restoration, and salvation. We thank you that in the name of Jesus, we can claim these things and receive them through faith. We thank you for the victory over our previous and present battles, as well as those to come. We thank you for success in your eyes Father, success in living a life that falls in line with your word and will for us individually and specifically. We thank you for your continued protection, necessary revelations and endings, exciting beginnings, forgiveness, grace and mercy. We thank you for the ability and strength to forgive those who have wronged us, but to also forgive ourselves. Although illogical to the mind of flesh, we thank you for the ability to be like you and forget the matters of our lives and memories that cannot be changed or altered; we thank you for helping us to move forward. This is our affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

~~ Tylesha ~~
