All honor and glory to God! I did it again today, came home and told myself I am going to nap for only an hour, but napped more like 4 hours, setting myself back on every thing I needed to accomplish today. Ugh! Soon, I am going be my own boss, dedicating all my time and energy to community service. Mark my word, when I do, I will be well rested and completely satisfied with my career and my overall life. If you've never experienced the joy and humbleness of being of service to a complete stranger, I encourage you to take a day to be an active volunteer at a soup kitchen, the Mission, or even join FMBS Inc.'s (my non-profit org.) list of volunteers, and help us canvas the underprivileged communities proving much needed services to the less fortunate. For more information about my organization visit http://fmbs-inc-bytye.org/, and to make a contribution, or to become a volunteer, please send an email to sustenance@fmbs-inc-bytye.org, with the subject line indicating your business (i.e. volunteer, donation, inquiry, etc.), with a brief message, including your contact info, and your matters of concern. On behalf of FMBS Inc. I thank you in advance for your interest and/or contributions. Remember to REFRAIN from praying (confessing) the problem (unfavorable outcomes), but ALWAYS speak (pray/confess) the answer (your desired result) into existence. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
I'm actually going to piggy-back off of a post a friend of mine on Facebook did, because the message is too valuable not to share. Basically, she put it like this... do NOT revisit your past; past meaning, whatever is behind you - something you've passed up or someone you've outgrown. God ended that aspect in your life for one reason or another, so, like that baboon Rafiki from the Lion King said, "It doesn't matter. It's in the past." Luke 9:62 says, "Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God." If we continue to hold on to our past - especially when God is trying to reveal our future, we will NEVER grow or heal from the heartache and misfortune that the past manifested. Job 7:6 (The Message) says,"My days come and go swifter than the click of knitting needles, and then the yarn runs out—an unfinished life!" You ever try to hold on so hard to something from your past? A memory, a relationship, a friendship, or a lifestyle? When we spend our moments dwelling on those things from our past that the Lord fervently provides us opportunities to be delivered from, we make the decision to maintain a hindered life - our lives are held captive by that moment in time, and we are subjected to the limitations we accept in our own decision to revisit the past. Proverbs 26:11 says, "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness." You're wondering why history repeats itself in your life, why you just "can't win for losing" (an oxymoron in my opinion), and simply ask the age-old question "why me?" It is because YOU keep returning to your past. It's like the concept of repentance... once you ask for forgiveness, it's not supposed to end there, you are supposed to turn-away from your sins. In this same light, your past is the past, once it is over, you should move forward and NOT look back. God's will is our destiny - His plan should be our purpose driven life. So LET GO of Your past, and ALLOW GOD to reveal Your future.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we enter into your presence in thanksgiving, praising you for your grace, mercy, forgiveness, and everlasting love. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper in the name of Jesus. Father God we thank you for removing our past that hinders us, and paving the way for our future, providing us with clarity in the midst of their circumstances. Father we thank you now for prosperity, success, and favor over FMBS Inc., and all those who have and will contribute to and/or volunteer their services to the organization's overall effectiveness and advancement. Lord we thank you for the authority to claim and accept victory over the enemy and defeat over sin. We thank you for the ability in our own words to speak life into every situation, speaking prosperity, success, and positivity into our own lives. We use the power of our tongue to reverse all negativity we once spoke into our lives and the lives of others, and we bind now the negativity spoken by others with regard to our lives, making their words ineffective against us in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we thank you for your continued protection and mercy. This is our affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
