Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Man oh man, how funny the adversary is. Last time we met in fellowship I was asking for your patience in advance for my inconsistency with the SOD, next minute you know my MacBook begins to freeze up on me and I couldn't even generate the SOD due to technical issues or lack of memory, who knows. Then, I finally get up and running again and my asthma and migraines go into full force, so I spent another week trying to recuperate from that. Just when I think all is well and attempted to generate the SOD last week, I ran into technical difficulties yet again. Such a freaking headache, sheesh. So today I asked God to touch this laptop and remove any viruses our obstacles standing in the way of me and my ministry while I was at work, and I ask that yall do the same. Also, please pray that I get the position of Psychology Technician at the facility I am currently working, as this would be advancement for me; please and thank you in advance. I ask that you pray for Marika Stotts; she is suffering complications in her pregnancy, and doctors say that a growth is stealing the nutrients that should go to the baby, enhancing its growth with that of the baby. As a result, doctors will have to perform a surgery that has not yet been performed on a pregnant woman. I ask that you pray for Latanya Wheeler and Tracy Roberson; I will keep their specifics private and ask that you pray for their complete and speedy recovery. Last but not least, please pray for baby Nai; I do not know her complete name, but she suffered a recent seizure that landed her in the hospital on a respirator, although she is off the machine and breathing on her own, let's ask God for a full recovery for her as well, thanks. One thing I can say is that NO matter how many times the enemy tries to stand in my way, I will find my way around him. My only challenge and encouragement for better/healthy living today is this - JUST DO IT! If you want a better body, if you want to eat healthier, if you want a stress-free lifestyle then DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO to get there. If you have yet to change something in your life, that may just be the obstacle standing in your way. Be encouraged!
Reminder: Please join our cause! First off, THANK YOU TO ALL those who donated and/or contributed their time, funds, and/or support to Fostering Mind, Body, and Soul Incorporated (FMBS Inc.) as we participated in the 2nd annual 5k run/walk marathon for the National Brain Tumor Society, to help raise awareness about brain tumors. We had a nice turnout of volunteers that walked in honor of our friend Jennifer Robinson, a brain tumor SURVIVOR. We also raised $600 of the $1,000 goal we set for our fundraiser on behalf of the run/walk. Hopefully, we will get more of you to become active participants and reach our fundraiser goal in next year's marathon. Don't forget that FMBS Inc. has partnered up with the LA Foodbank in our FIRST food drive which began on October 1, 2013 and will continue through to November 19, 2013; we are soliciting both NON-perishable food items (at least 350 lbs) and/or monetary donations (a goal of $350) on behalf of the LA Foodbank. For every $1 collected, they are able to provide four meals. All food items will be used to restock their empty pantry shelves for current and/or future community service events that they sponsor. You can make monetary donations to myself or directly to their site at http://www.lafoodbank.org/virtual-food-drive/donor-pledge.aspx?member=99342517FBBDCBFB04EDE0CBF1F0A5B0. 50% of all unspecified monetary donations will be issued to FMBS Inc. for the same purpose - providing meals to underprivileged families in our local communities during the holiday seasons and throughout the year. Help us be a blessing in the lives of those in need. If it were you in need, wouldn't you want someone to help you and your family? Please do NOT feel limited to supporting the food drive. NO MATTER how large or small, YOUR contributions and support BENEFIT people in need. I encourage you to JOIN our cause. You may simply take this opportunity to make a charitable donation in support of our organization's normal operations - serving underprivileged communities and individuals of ALL ages in and around Southern California, via the PayPal link located on our website at http://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org/. Or become an active member yourself; our organization will succeed and proper because of your efforts, help us be a blessing to those in need. On behalf of my team of volunteers, I thank you in advance for your contributions, donations, pledges, support, and for SHARING/PROMOTING these events to bring awareness to our efforts. ~Tylesha Allen, CEO/Founder of FMBS Inc.~
As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. "To IMPROVE is to CHANGE" - Winston Churchill. God Bless!
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Passage - Proverbs 3:5-7 (NLT):
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil."

Thoughts for Today:
"If you are trying to help a loved one with a life-controlling problem, you must first reach a point of accepting the reality of their situation. Only then will you feel free to turn your loved one over to God. This is a time when you are able to detach yourself from the one you love so much. You will be able to truly lean on and trust in the Lord—and stop depending on yourself to fix your struggling loved one.
Consider this …
The prodigal son's father was not an enabler. He allowed his son to be responsible for his own actions (read Luke 15:11-32). The rebellious son asked to receive an early inheritance and then squandered it all on wild living. He then had nothing—he was hired to feed pigs and found himself yearning for their food. Even at this point, no one reached out to rescue him from the consequences of his behavior (verse 16). And so … he "came to his senses" (verse 17). He finally was ready to take responsibility for his behavior. He showed humility and took positive action (verses 18-20). He returned home and confessed his sin toward his father and heaven. This father had faith that his son would return. Although he showed compassion, there is no record of his enabling his son. He allowed the son to be responsible for his own actions. Do you love the struggling person in your life enough to let go … and lean on God?"

To me this lesson is one that is all too familiar in my own personal expectation of man; closure does NOT come from seeking revenge against the one who has wronged you, it comes from the offender accepting his or her role in their offense against you. For example, a loved one steals something of value from you; your spouse commits adultery; someone defames your character; etc. - all it takes sometimes to find peace within is for that individual to be accountable for his or her involvement in the offense, and then to apologize for their wrong doing. Now do NOT get me wrong, that doesn't always mean you will kiss and make-up. Rather, you will find peace in the outcome, accept whatever results came from it, and you forgive the individual; through prayer and time, you can move forward positively without resentment or pinned-up anger.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. Father, we have tried leaning on our own understanding, and we know now that we must let go of our loved ones, and allow them to suffer the natural consequences of their behavior, then lean on you to see them through it. Help us to fully trust in your way and your time. Father transform us into an image that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Give us the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant forgiveness to us. Also, place upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More importantly Father, whatever guilt we've place on self, allow us to release so that we may forgive ourselves. Help us to release all negativity stored within. Lord we speak healing upon Tracy, Latanya, and Nai; provide relief where there is discomfort and continue to restore their health quickly and completely. Lord we ask that you are the head of Marika's surgery, and thank you in advance for a successful procedure, and comfort pre and post surgery; please grant her a complete and speedy recovery as well, and a healthy delivery when that time come. Lord we thank you for releasing all elements interfering with Tylesha's efforts, success, prosperity, productivity, full-potential, and self-motivation; we pray that her ministry and non-profit organization flourish, and thank you in advance for her advancement as a Psychology Technician. Bless us with a double portion of your Spirit Father. Close every unnecessary door that is open in our lives, and open supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. Provide each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Help us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. Help us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. Provide discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
