The End is Near (1/9/2014)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. As mentioned yesterday, I would like to remind you that my computers are in a technological hiatus and unfortunately, it is not in my budget to replace any of my electronic devices; production gaps for the SOD will continue until I am able to invest in a more reliable system. Now on to our lesson... "whether you're battling workout boredom, weight loss plateaus, or injuries, you don't have to let any obstacle sidetrack your fitness. All you need is the right motivation... Set up a standing apppointment with a friend whose fitness level matches yours—your mutual motivation lulls will cancel each other out. Research shows that having a dedicated workout partner makes you more likely to stick with an exercise program (Prevention Healthy Living Group. (2013). 31 Ways to never skip another workout. Prevention. Retrieved from http://www.prevention.com). "To IMPROVE is to CHANGE" ~Winston Churchill~  #Be encouraged!

My non-profit organization Fostering Mind, Body, and Soul Incorporated (FMBS Inc.) holds a federal 501(c)(3) tax exemption, which means that ALL donations made to my organization are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. It is through YOUR continued support that my organization will succeed in its efforts to provide overall sustenance to less fortunate individuals and families throughout Southern California, as well as our at-risk youth and our veterans, with high hopes of expansion in the future. Have you ever had the desire to be a part of something bigger? It is Mahatma Ghandi's words that I am reminded of... "be the change that you want to see in the world." It is NEVER too late to be a blessing in the lives of those in need. YOUR contributions and support no matter how big or small, BENEFIT people in need. I encourage you to JOIN our cause. You have an opportunity to make a charitable donation YEAR ROUND in support of FMBS Inc., simply provide one of our representatives with your cash donation, write a check payable to FMBS Inc., or use the PayPal link located on our website at http://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org. You also have the option of becoming an active member yourself - Help us GIVE BACK to the community. On behalf of my team of volunteers, I thank you in advance for your continued contributions, donations, pledges, support, and for SHARING/PROMOTING our events to bring awareness to our efforts.  ~Tylesha "Tye" Allen, CEO/Founder of FMBS Inc.~

TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul TODAY because tomorrow is NOT promised; by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.), YOU can start anew and become a better you. CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN... Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcomeDo NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Passage Matthew 24:45-46:
"A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward."

It is probably a good thing that most of us do not spend our days standing on street corners, proclaiming certain doom, while dauntingly donning signs warning: “THE END IS NEAR!” Such images often stir a myriad of thoughts and feelings within us that may include anger, resentment, apathy, or perhaps even a sort of embarrassment. But what should be more embarrassing to us: someone who disturbingly declares his or her beliefs, or we who believe but remain quiet and show little evidence of our belief? Do we believe God’s prophesies? Do we believe our Master will return? If so, how should that effect the way we live in the here and now? Though it may not be God’s desire for us to set up shop as a prophet of doom, we can be certain He would have us to live in a way that supports what we say we believe. Not that we should be fearful of the coming end--but that we should be prepared--always watching and anxiously awaiting for Jesus to come again(Chambers, R. (2014). The End is Near. Retrieved from http://reflections.daybyday.org).

The other day I received a text from someone stating that two of my cousins lost their babies; one was 8 months and at a scheduled check-up the doctor's couldn't find a heartbeat, while the other was barely a month and miscarried. My natural response was to use foul language out of shock. Those of you who are familiar with my openness in the SOD, know that I have shared before that I have a "mouth of a sailor," no pun intended (Navy Veteran). Unbeknownst to me, it was a mass text in which my reply was broadcasted to everyone on the original recipient list. My mommy instantly text me upon reading my response and stated that, "Christians don't say #### on universal communication." She proceeded to remind me that I now direct a non-profit organization with a Christian-based foundation and operate an online ministry. True, that mass text-reply was probably only viewed by individuals who know just how foul my mouth can be, but the moral of the story is that someone is always watching our every move. If we claim to be Christians which is defined as being Christ-like, then we should be behaving in a manner as such. No one is perfect, and God doesn't expect us to be; He does expect us to put forth 100% effort toward being better representatives of His Kingdom the same way we expect Him to follow-through with His promises. If you don't care who is watching, be mindful that our Father in Heaven sees all; even if someone else's observation or critique of your life matters not, consider what God would think BEFORE you make your next decision.

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant us forgiveness, and for placing upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More so Father, we thank you for removing the guilt we once placed on self, and for removing every thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you for our new 180 degree turn-around which transforms our image to one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives. Thanks for opening supernatural doors in our lives that lead to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Thanks for helping us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation, and for the courage to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. We thank you for discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. Thanks for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you and thank you in advance for working it all out. All these things we claim in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
