Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! So I messed up again, my apologies. I had every intention of sending the SOD out on Friday, and messed that up. I was experiencing a high level of anxiety which had interfered with my concentration. I had then decided I would handle it Saturday before church, but I didn't wake up early enough to type the SOD, and I didn't return home until late that evening. So, here's my make-up SOD ... First, let me share a praise report. The other day, one of my mom's co-workers had replied to the SOD. She had made a pledge for the run/walk and asked for prayers on behalf of her brother-in-law Albert Sanchez. However, I didn't open or read the email until after I had already distributed the SOD for the evening, so I vowed to say a prayer for him at that moment and agreed to add him to the list the following SOD. Before I could add him to the prayer list, she had informed me that Albert had miraculously recovered overnight. Additionally, an old pastor of mine, McPhaull had shared with me an issue with his vision. He too had problems after having Lasix, not as soon as mine but none-the-less he experienced diminished vision at some point. His eye doctors tried to put him back in glasses and contacts, but after all attempts failed he was finally diagnosed with cataracts. He has since undergone surgery, and his vision is now restored. So all praise be to God for them. I thank you all in advance for your patience, your donations, and your support. I hope yall have had a wonderful weekend, and perhaps I will see you for my non-profit organization's next meeting, or at the run/walk.
REMINDER: I'm still seeking volunteers to help build-up my non-profit organization; join my team of volunteers as we work to provide sustenance to those in need (please refer tohttp://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org for more information about the organization). If you or someone you know would like to join my team of volunteers, please contact me so that I may set-up an orientation to get you started with your volunteer membership. Our next meeting will be held on September 15th at 3:00 PM in Los Angeles (location will be disclosed upon your RSVP). Additionally, as a group we will be participating in the Brain Tumor Society’s 2nd annual 5k walk/run. FMBS Inc. will be walking/running in honor of my dear friend, Jennifer Robinson, a brain tumor survivor. I would love for you to participate in the walk with us. Contact me with regard to your interest in this event, or simply “register” to “join a team” under my name (Tylesha Allen) or my company’s name (FMBS Inc.) for Team Jenn. If you would rather submit a monetary donation, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Either way, just copy and paste one of these two URL addresses http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/Team_Jenn_R or http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/fmbs_4_Team_Jenninto your Internet browser to read Jennifer’s story, to join Team Jenn, or to make a pledge that will help us reach our fund-raising goal; we would like to raise $1,000 for the cause. So far, we've only reached the $300 mark, so please remember to spread the word about this event. We thank you in advance for SHARING these links with others. Many people have suffered as a result of brain tumors and brain cancers; families and friends of those who fall victim to brain tumors and/or brain cancer are victims themselves. Our efforts will bring researchers that much closer to better treatment, a cure, and will ultimately help to better educate society.
As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.).Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Thoughts for Today:
Thursday "we considered the importance of taking a regular inventory of our lives. A good place to start is by examining our relationship with God. As you begin to do this, ask yourself some hard questions like these:
- Do I know God better today than I did last month or last year?
- Am I asking God about his plan for my life, or just forging on ahead, doing my own thing?
- Am I too busy for God?
- Am I persisting in some behavior that I know is displeasing to him?
Consider this ...
You can trust Jesus to forgive your failures and give you the strength to get your life back on track. The changes might be small or large. The important thing is to always be moving in the right direction - toward God and His plan for your life."

What's interesting about this lesson is that my pastor touched on this in Church on Saturday. The sermon series is Why Opposites Attract, but catered toward the single and dating individuals who are seeking "the right one" in their lives. Pastor Kelly used parallels between our quest to find love and our spiritual walk. I hope that I am able to articulate some of these points appropriately. Anyway, he advised the single and dating population in the church to be open and upfront about their expectations a relationship, determining what their commitment level is, together. Thus, allowing both parties to be 100% clear about the nature of their relationship so that they will properly react according to their commitment level. Pastor Kelly said the same should be true regarding our relationship with Christ; we shouldn't fake the funk in church pretending to be closer to God than we are, nor should we present God with broken promises that we only make in hope that God will bail us out of some trouble.
In reality, we want to do our own thing yet want to call on Jesus when it is convenient for us. Like dating someone to determine if he or she is "the one," we should date the Lord. Unlike the many losers we may encounter before finding "the one," the Lord is confident that if and when we give Him the opportunity to show us what He his capable of, He will always step up to the plate. Unlike man, God's love for us is NOT dependent off of our love for Him. So whether we place Him in the "friend" category or decide to "go steady" with Him, He will be faithful. If your inventory proves that you only spend time with God in your time of need, or you only dedicate yourself to Him on the weekends, then you should stay true to that. Otherwise, you represent your faith falsely; you only put yourself in a position to fail God and disappoint Him. However, being real with God about your commitment level allows Him to show Himself during those moments that you've set aside for Him. Yes, I know this sounds like an unconventional way of worship, but "actions speak louder than words," right? So why keep making promises to God such as, 'if you get me through this God, I promise I will start going to church every Sabbath' or 'every Sunday,' but then when He follows through, you leave Him hanging? However, if you're straight-up with the Lord like, 'I really only need you part-time, when I call on you Lord,' the moment you call Him, He will reveal Himself so much that you will gravitate more toward Him. Do NOT kid yourself about where you are in your spiritual walk. Be straight-up with yourself, and with God, He knows where your heart is anyway.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Give us the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant forgiveness to us. Also, place upon those we may have wronged, the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More importantly Father, whatever guilt we've place on self, allow us to release so that we may forgive ourselves. We thank you now for the recovery of both your servants, Albert Sanchez and Donald McPahuall. Lord, we desire to grow in our walk with you, to know you better Lord, and to accomplish your plan for our individual lives. As we celebrate our blessings and what it means to be saved, help us see the areas in our lives that require change, and then help us to do something about it. Help us to release all negativity stored within. Bless us with a double portion of your Spirit Father. Close every unnecessary door that is open in our lives, and open supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. Provide each of us with clear and concise revelations that we need in order to overcome the adversary. Help us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. Help us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. Provide discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. Transform us into an image that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
