Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! My goal in our fellowship is to develop better habits, replace negativity with positivity, and to build and maintain an overall healthy lifestyle while encouraging others to do the same. Before we get to the lesson, please add Keith Hall to your prayer list. Mr. Hall has been experiencing chest pain lately, so we want to claim victory over whatever is trying to attack his body. Yesterday I shared with you a link of the 1st sermon to a series taught by Pastor Kelly at Mt. Rubidoux Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Riverside. Today, I would like to share some lyrics from a song entitled "Clean This House" by Isaac Carree ... "I said if you got me out that last situation, I wouldn't do it again, what can I say but I'm only human, and Lord here I stand. I've been smoking a lot, and drinking a lot, and all up in the club. I've been doing this, I've been doing that and I had no business doing it. No church or no Bible study, ain't been in my word. Now I know better than this, can't live my life in sin ... Clean this house, from the inside out, restore me, take away my impurity." I know I'm not the only one who can relate to that song, that's why I shared it. God knows that we as humans are influenced by our fleshly desires and will often be tempted by sin, falling short of His glory time and time again. But it is up to us as individuals to fall to our knees in reverence to our Lord, and earnestly seek His forgiveness. Unlike man God forgives and forgets. So rejoice in His grace and mercy, knowing that we may not have reached our full-potential at this point in our lives, but with every breath is another opportunity He grants us to get it right - according to His will. Be encouraged!
REMINDER: I'm still seeking volunteers to help build-up my non-profit organization; join my team of volunteers as we work to provide sustenance to those in need (please refer to http://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org for more information about the organization). If you or someone you know would like to join my team of volunteers, please contact me so that I may set-up an orientation to get you started with your volunteer membership. Our next meeting will be held on September 15th at 3:00 PM in Los Angeles (location will be disclosed upon your RSVP). Additionally, as a group we will be participating in the Brain Tumor Society’s 2nd annual 5k walk/run. FMBS Inc. will be walking/running in honor of my dear friend, Jennifer Robinson, a brain tumor survivor. I would love for you to participate in the walk with us. Contact me with regard to your interest in this event, or simply “register” to “join a team” under my name (Tylesha Allen) or my company’s name (FMBS Inc.) for Team Jenn. If you would rather submit a monetary donation, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Either way, just copy and paste one of these two URL addresses http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/Team_Jenn_R orhttp://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/fmbs_4_Team_Jenn into your Internet browser to read Jennifer’s story, to join Team Jenn, or to make a pledge that will help us reach our fund-raising goal; we would like to raise $1,000 for the cause. So far, we've only reached the $300 mark, so please remember tospread the word about this event. We thank you in advance for SHARING these links with others. Many people have suffered as a result of brain tumors and brain cancers; families and friends of those who fall victim to brain tumors and/or brain cancer are victims themselves. Our efforts will bring researchers that much closer to better treatment, a cure, and will ultimately help to better educate society.
As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Thoughts for Today:
"For our last look this week at inventorying our lives, let's think about choices in the workplace. Sometimes we tend to live by a different set of standards in our career or business, but God wants us to be guided by His principles in every area of our lives. It is especially important to consider our motives for doing what we do at work. Are we motivated mostly by our desire to move up the ladder and make more money, or is honoring Jesus still our most important motivator? In taking inventory, make a list of questions to ask yourself. You might want to use some like these:
- Have I been swept into a competitive mode that causes me to try to get ahead even at the expense of hurting other people?
- Do I base business decisions solely on my desire to succeed, or do I first consider the integrity of my choices?
- Has my work become so all-consuming that I am putting it above my focus on my family?
- Am I participating in workplace gossip or complaining?
- What kind of influence am I having on those around me?
Consider this ...
Honestly inventorying your attitudes and actions in the workplace is the first step toward correcting any problem areas. As you confess your failures to God, He will forgive you and help you chart a better path. Jesus loves you. Only as you choose to do things His way will you find real success, the kind that lasts for an eternity."

I thought today's devotional was on point. You often hear about celebrities, wealthy individuals, and other persons we assume to be well-off, committing senseless crimes such as petty theft, and/or committing suicide. Have you ever wondered why, or thought to yourself 'why is that person unhappy when he or she has everything'? When Winona Ryder stole something from a department store some years back, people didn't understand why. And what about one of the shooters from that notorious bank robbery in Hollywood ... he came from a wealthy background and was educated. Consider the many faces of Michael Jackson, no pun intended ... Just because people have riches does not mean they have wealth. Yes, these terms are used synonymously, but there is a difference. Rich people have money and poor management skills, while wealthy people have the knowledge to build an empire that builds revenue. MC Hammer was rich, but poor management of money landed him back in the poor house. Bill Gates on the other hand is wealthy. His innovations and investments continue to produce revenue. I believe the parallel of riches and wealth in relation to our spiritual walk is based on the intent of our choices. Every time we choose a path that follows selfish desires, we may experience an abundance of pleasure - we become rich in satisfaction, but "what goes up, must come down." Our pleasure always turns out to be temporary. However, when we pray first and allow God to shine His light on the right path, we are filled with a lasting satisfaction - true fulfillment in our circumstance; we become wealthy in our achievements. Why neglect your morals and values to reach a temporary status defined by society, or peer pressure that influences you to conform to the masses for advancement? A temporary status will never render complete satisfaction, thus, activating greed and influencing ill-mannered ways of making it to the top. When you stand firm in the Lord and trust in Himto lead you in the right direction, you are guaranteed satisfactory results that will render everlasting stability and true contentment.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Father we ask that you cover Keith at this very moment. Cease any ailments trying to attack his body, while completely reversing all symptoms, and providing him with immediate relief of any discomfort. Give us the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant forgiveness to us. Also, place upon those we may have wronged, the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More importantly Father, whatever guilt we've place on self, allow us to release so that we may forgive ourselves. Lord, help us to clearly see our motives for all we do in the workplace. Forgive us for letting our desires to get ahead in our careers overshadow our desire to honor you in all that we do. We pray above all that our employers and co-workers will see Jesus in us, and that you will use us to encourage them and influence them toward you. Help us to release all negativity stored within.Bless us with a double portion of your Spirit Father. Close every unnecessary door that is open in our lives, and open supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. Provide each of us with clear and concise revelations that we need in order to overcome the adversary. Help us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. Help us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. Provide discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. Transform us into an image that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
