Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Be encouraged every day... I challenge you to live each day with a new attitude and new gratitude. When you wake up in the morning, AFTER giving God some praise, let that be the moment you decide that you will stand firm on God's word and His will; do NOT allow anyone to steal your joy. Alter the way you think so that you are conscious of the way that you speak. Focus on all of life's positives: another day living, health, strength, shelter, employment, family, friends, fellowship, etc. Speak positively so that the words that depart your mouth are always kind, true, and necessary. Behave in a positive manner even when you think no one is looking. The best way to get back at your enemies is to show them that you will NOT be defeated - kill'em with kindness. Do NOT stoop to their level of ignorance, drama, and negativity. Remain unflinching and show them who your God is. If your image mirrors that of the Son, then no one will ever question your lifestyle. I also challenge you to change up your eating habits. Try replacing junk food with raw or dehydrated fruit and/or veggies, snack on some almonds or walnuts, replace juice and soda with water. But above all this, remember to give God praise BEFORE you start your day, and feed your spirit with His Word. Now on with today's lesson...
REMINDER: I'm still seeking volunteers to help build-up my non-profit organization; join my team of volunteers as we work to provide sustenance to those in need (please refer to http://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org for more information about the organization). If you or someone you know would like to join my team of volunteers, please contact me so that I may set-up an orientation to get you started with your volunteer membership. Our next meeting will be held on September 15th at 3:00 PM in Los Angeles (location will be disclosed upon your RSVP). Additionally, as a group we will be participating in the Brain Tumor Society’s 2nd annual 5k walk/run. FMBS Inc. will be walking/running in honor of my dear friend, Jennifer Robinson, a brain tumor survivor. I would love for you to participate in the walk with us. Contact me with regard to your interest in this event, or simply “register” to “join a team” under my name (Tylesha Allen) or my company’s name (FMBS Inc.) for Team Jenn. If you would rather submit a monetary donation, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Either way, just copy and paste one of these two URL addresses http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/Team_Jenn_R orhttp://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/fmbs_4_Team_Jenn into your Internet browser to read Jennifer’s story, to join Team Jenn, or to make a pledge that will help us reach our fund-raising goal; we would like to raise $1,000 for the cause. So far, we've only reached the $300 mark, so please remember tospread the word about this event. We thank you in advance for SHARING these links with others. Many people have suffered as a result of brain tumors and brain cancers; families and friends of those who fall victim to brain tumors and/or brain cancer are victims themselves. Our efforts will bring researchers that much closer to better treatment, a cure, and will ultimately help to better educate society.
As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Passage - Psalm 27:1 (NLT):
"The Lord is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?"

Thoughts for Today:
"Depression almost always results in fear that our personal failures and inadequacies will be exposed and shame and humiliation will follow. This fear can cause us to isolate ourselves from others to avoid getting hurt. As a step toward recovery from depression, we need to replace our self-imposed isolation with a willingness to share with others. This takes courage. It requires being honest with ourselves and other people. We might think, 'I'm afraid they will reject me when they hear the truth' or 'I've been protecting myself for so long by hiding the real me from others, I don't know if I can change.' It's not easy to tell someone we are hurting or afraid or angry. The good news is that we don't have to do this on our own. God loves us and wants to help us. If we turn to Him, He will give us the courage we need. And He loves us unconditionally. Nothing will ever change that."
"Consider this..."
"If fear has caused you to build a wall between yourself and others, be encouraged to take that first step out of isolation. Call someone you have been avoiding. Share something you are feeling with a person close to you. You don't have to do it all at once. Ask God to help you, and then take that first step. With Him, you can do it."

I'm sure by now yall are familiar with my personal insecurities. But just in case, I'll recap for you... I am currently learning to heal from my own insecurities. Sometimes I look in the mirror in disgust at the image I see. I question my own identity, and have a distorted self-image. Sure, compliments sound great, but usually don't make me feel any different about myself. In fact, sometimes I offend the person delivering the compliment, because I don't always receive them well. So it may take me a moment to muster a "thank you." Instead, I shoot back a perplexed look as though they were the one who said something offensive. Honestly, I am not 100% sure where the insecurities stem from, but over the years they've increased and have negatively impacted my social behavioral patterns. I recall a time when I was "the life of the party," now I find a quiet corner to myself in crowds of people I do not know, or isolate myself to the individual(s) I do know. During my military stint, however, I had lots of time and distance from familiarity. Thus, I was able to recognize patterns of behavior triggered by my own insecurities. When I first began suffering from depression, I isolated myself from loved ones because I didn't want to be around anyone, and I would inadvertently starve myself due to loss of appetite. Gratefully, my time in the service allowed me to reevaluate my approach. The first step was speaking about my issues to any and everyone willing to listen. Additionally, I wrote poetry and wrote in a journal. Any positive activity or practice that allowed me to be expressive and release my pain, I participated in. The problem is, I never actually addressed any of my past issues. I simply spoke about them and kept moving forward with life, while pretending the past never existed. Unfortunately, over the years I slowly edged away from the outlets that once brought me solace. Over the past few years, I have experienced an unhealthy spike in my mood and attitude. Hence my reason for seeking therapy. It was a decision that I was hesitant about at first, because I did not want my name to be attached to a stigma - I did not want to be thought of as crazy or unstable. Then I realized that technically, those terms accurately described who I am, because I choose to run from myself rather than confront the woman I see in the mirror face-to-face. The first step in my recovery was the recognition that I cannot heal in my own strength. God is our healer and protector yes, but why do you think He blessed individual's with the skill to diagnose problems and treat them? Seek Him first and He will lead the way. My path began with my seeking therapy to get to the root of my inner most issues. The more I learn about myself, the better I am able to find the best approach to defeat the adversary and develop inner peace. The first step in your recovery is to identify your problem, and the next step is your willingness to allow God to reveal your best course of action. The only one standing in your way of inner freedom is YOU! Take your first step today, because no one knows what tomorrow will bring.BE ENCOURAGED!
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Give us the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant forgiveness to us. Also, place upon those we may have wronged, the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More importantly Father, whatever guilt we place on self, allow us to release so that we may forgive ourselves. Father God, we have been so afraid to talk to anyone about our problems. Help us trust you enough to step beyond our fears and to share our need with someone who can offer the assistance we are individually in need of. Help us to release all negativity stored within. Bless us with a double portion of your Spirit Father. Close every unnecessary door that is open in our lives, and open supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. Provide each of us with clear and concise revelations that we need in order to overcome the adversary. Help us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. Help us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. Provide discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. Transform us into an image that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
