Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Hey yall, it's been a minute ... between health issues, general challenges, and technical difficulties, I have been trying to remain encouraged through it all. My encouragement tip for healthy living this week is for YOU to STOP standing in your own way of progress and success ... It only takes 20-30 minutes each day of physical activity to improve your fitness, alleviate symptoms of depression, manage stress, and to strengthen your heart. If you can't commit to a daily workout routine, participate in at least 4 days a week of brisk walking; when combatting a busy schedule, you can break-up your 30 minutes into two 15-minute or three 10-minute intervals. And remember, DRINK WATER and LIMIT your sugar intake. Be encouraged!
Reminder: Please join our cause! Fostering Mind, Body, and Soul Incorporated (FMBS Inc.) partnered up with the LA Foodbank in our FIRST food drive which began on October 1, 2013 and will continue through to November 19, 2013; we are still soliciting both NON-perishable food items (at least 350 lbs) and/or monetary donations (a goal of $350) on behalf of the LA Foodbank. For every $1 collected, they are able to provide four meals. All food items will be used to restock their empty pantry shelves for current and/or future community service events that they sponsor. You can make monetary donations to myself or directly to their site at http://www.lafoodbank.org/virtual-food-drive/donor-pledge.aspx?member=99342517FBBDCBFB04EDE0CBF1F0A5B0. 50% of all unspecified monetary donations will be issued to FMBS Inc. for the same purpose - providing meals to underprivileged families in our local communities during the holiday seasons and throughout the year. Help us be a blessing in the lives of those in need. If it were you in need, wouldn't you want someone to help you and your family? Please do NOT feel limited to supporting the food drive. NO MATTER how large or small, YOUR contributions and support BENEFIT people in need. I encourage you to JOIN our cause. You may simply take this opportunity to make a charitable donation in support of our organization's normal operations - serving underprivileged communities and individuals of ALL ages in and around Southern California, via the PayPal link located on our website at http://www.fmbs-inc-bytye.org/. Or become an active member yourself; our organization will succeed and proper because of your efforts, help us be a blessing to those in need. On behalf of my team of volunteers, I thank you in advance for your contributions, donations, pledges, support, and for SHARING/PROMOTING these events to bring awareness to our efforts. ~Tylesha "Tye" Allen, CEO/Founder of FMBS Inc.~
As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. "To IMPROVE is to CHANGE" - Winston Churchill. God Bless!
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Passage - Mark 11:25 (NLT):
"But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop" (AMP).

Thoughts for Today:
"You and your spouse have hired lawyers, and divorce papers have been filed. You may feel out of control and bewildered, but try to stay open even now to the possibility of reconciliation. Perhaps you have reached the point where the divorce is a reality, and the details need to be worked out. Most legal divorces result in economic divorce. Family lifestyle is altered by the financial settlement, alimony, and child support. And, one of the most painful parts of all, the children. You and your spouse are divorcing each other, but not the children. This is when issues of guilt, custody, visitation, and family "rights" must be settled.
Consider this ...
Even when divorces start out "friendly," they often deteriorate into fierce battles while working through these details. Well-meaning friends are saying, "Don't let him get away with that!" "Don't let her do that to you!" Fear and anger begin to take control. Perhaps your spouse has been unfaithful or even abusive. What does God call you to do? To get even? No. Today's scripture makes it clear that we are to forgive, to let it go. Jesus died on the cross for all our sins and failures. He paid the penalty for us and offers us forgiveness as a gift. How can we refuse to offer forgiveness to others? Holding on to resentment and bitterness hurts us more than anyone. It robs us of peace and keeps us from moving on with our lives. Forgiveness does not mean allowing the person who has hurt us to manipulate us or take advantage of us. But it does mean making our choices and decisions prayerfully and without any malice. Get rid of the weight. Ask God to help you forgive and move forward in His love and strength."

I recognize that this message is targeting troubled marriages, but the overall moral is to FORGIVE and to LET GO, and that applies to EVERY facet of life. I have personally held hatred toward someone before and then I prayed my emotions out of it. However, the anger and bitterness resurfaced; again, I find myself praying to forgive that individual and to let go of the negative emotions that make me resent that person. In the midst of the events surrounding what led to this strong dislike for that person, I had people in my ear trying to influence my behavior and reactions toward that individual in an even more negative way. Fortunately, this passage is engrained in my mind, amongst others; God's Word warns that vengeance is for the Lord, and so is the battle (refer to Romans 12:19 and II Chronicles 20:15). What exactly do you get by seeking revenge on someone? Do the memories of their wrong doings disappear from your mind? Does your heartache diminish? Does the outcome change? NO! So why then would you be tempted to go with the "eye for an eye" approach, when Matthew 5:39 says, "if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also"? If you have people in your circle who FAIL to provide UNBIASED advice that is based on their opinion rather than the Word, then seek guidance from someone who IS capable of setting aside "self," and allowing God to speak through them. Or, simply LET GO of the situation in prayer and then BE STILL and watch God work. This is NOT an easy task by far, but through Christ ALL is possible (refer to Philippians 4:13).
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We need your help Lord; forgive us for any anger and bitterness towards others that is hindering us and holding us captive in our own minds. Help us to let go of the negative emotions we feel towards others, and help us make wise decisions regarding those who have wronged us. Help us to be removed from self so that we can block all negative influences in our lives in order to do things Your way. Give us the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant forgiveness to us. Also, place upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More importantly Father, whatever guilt we've place on self, allow us to release so that we may forgive ourselves. Transform us into a mirror image of Jesus so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. We ask for forgiveness of everything that we have thought, said, or did, that was not pleasing in your sight. Bless us with a double portion of your Spirit Father. Close every unnecessary door that is open in our lives, and open supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. Provide each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Help us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation. Help us to reevaluate our lifestyles, and to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. Provide discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. We thank you for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
