Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. Please remember that production gaps for the SOD will continue until I am able to invest in a more reliable computer system, I thank you in advance for your understanding. Now let's move forward... "Want to live longer and be healthier? Good genes, plenty of exercise, and eating right should help. But you might also try sitting down, closing your eyes, and breathing properly. In other words, meditate. Meditation practice can take you inside for an out-of-the-world experience (para 1)... Meditation is simply a quieting of the mind and inner spirit. It is the ability to sit still and block out all thoughts, while listening to your inner spirit and speaking directly to Source. Meditation can be used to restrain the wandering of the mind and bring you back to full awareness. By helping you to relax, meditation can improve your concentration and relieve stress (para 3)... There are many ways to meditate, and even a few minutes can make a big difference in the way you feel and think. You can teach yourself meditation by following a few simple steps: If you’re a beginner, start slowly. Five minutes is enough. If you like it, you can increase the amount of time as you see fit. To start, find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted. Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Create a serene environment by having tranquil sounds or classical music playing in the background... TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul TODAY because tomorrow is NOT promised; by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.), YOU can start anew and become a better you. CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN... Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "be the change that you want to see in the world." Have a blessed rest of the week.
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Passage - Galatians 3:3:
"How foolish can you be? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?"

"
Once upon a time, you made a decision to make Jesus Savior, and Lord. What has happened since? Have you walked consistently with Him as you wish to? Or, like so many of us, have you become distracted by the cares of this life? Do you anticipate meeting with Jesus each day? Or do you simply anticipate getting through the day? We believe that “with God all things are possible,” and that “God shall supply all your need…” So can we place the faith in Him that we did when we first came to Him? Can we believe that “His grace is sufficient,” and that all the cares of our lives today do not need to be cause to worry? Once upon a time, we looked to Jesus, trusting Him with our eternity. Shall we therefore do any less than to trust Him with each day? Do we need to make a decision for Him again? Do we need to again come to Him and say, "I will follow you, Lord?” The decision is ours—the decision is daily"

Yall already know I keeps it real wit'cha... I won't sit here and lie and claim to be a saint, in fact, I'm far from one; I try to become a better representative of God's Kingdom daily, but I know that I can do a whole lot better. We as believers need to LET GO of the things in our lives that have become so distracting that we must "find time" for God, rather than set aside time for those things AFTER we have spent sufficient one-on-one time with the Lord. Instead of focusing on all the blessings we have both big and small, we tend to pollute our minds with the worries of this world. But what does that say about our faith? We pray, and pray again, yet we never WAIT and BE STILL; fore if we were to be PATIENT in God's timing, we would NOT be trying to find our own solutions to our problems without FIRST consulting with Him and WAITING for HIS DIRECTION. We are all guilty of this, yet some are more disciplined than others. Some of us need to be reminded that we will be held accountable for our faithfulness to Christ; we are no longer protected by ignorance because, we were renewed by the Word of God and thus are responsible for APPLYING the knowledge we've obtained to our DAILY lifestyles. God may not have answered your specific prayer right now because maybe you haven't accepted that what YOU WANT, it is NOT in HIS WILL for you. Or perhaps the things you've prayed for are in His will for you, but He is still pruning you so that you will be able to handle the blessing when He finally grants your wishes; be CONTENT in knowing that as long as your faith is genuinely set in the Lord's ability and authority in your life, that HE WILL answer your prayers according to HIS WILL and HIS TIME. If you do not receive the answer you wished for, don't be discouraged, simply focus on the positives. For example, if you prayed for a new position at work but someone less qualified was hired over you, consider it God saving you from an equally or more dissatisfying position than the one you're currently in; consider this... what if when you got that position, corporate office decided they needed to downsize, and the very position you were promoted to was one that was being discontinued altogether. Wouldn't you then feel relieved that you were passed-up on the position? I know I have been in similar situations regarding work, and typically being passed-up on, works in my favor. However, it shouldn't take an "ah ha" moment for us to recognize the blessing in our storms. From now on consider the "what ifs" to every situation, focusing on the positives and weaning out the negatives: if your car was totaled and you had no transportation, be happy that your life was spared and that Metro Link and public buses still exist; if your hair falls out and you're balding, be grateful for wigs, toupees, and hair implants; and if it's your first year cooking Thanksgiving dinner and you burn the turkey, be happy you can house-hop and pick-up some grub from a loved one's house instead, LOL. I hope you see where I'm going with this; NOTHING is certain except death and the 2nd coming of Christ, therefore, not all things will work in our favor. Yet, in ALL outcomes you can discover something positive, even in tragedy. I know it's hard, but God will see you through it.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant us forgiveness, and for placing upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More so Father, we thank you for removing the guilt we once placed on self, and for removing every thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you for transforming our image into one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives. Thanks for opening supernatural doors in our lives that lead to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Thanks for helping us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation, and for the courage to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. We thank you for discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. Thanks for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you and thank you in advance for working it all out. All these things we claim in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
