I Stand Amazed (2/13/2014)

Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. Please remember that production gaps for the SOD will continue until I am able to invest in a more reliable computer system, I thank you in advance for your understanding. Now let's move forward... if you suffer stomach stress such as motion sickness, indigestion, and bloating, I have some remedies that may provide some relief. Roberta Lee, MD, vice chair of the department of integrative medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center for Health and Healing, and Roxanne Sukol, MD, MS, staff physician for preventive medicine at Cleveland Clinic Wellness Center, have reviewed and approved the following tips suggested by Prevention Magazine readers: 1) knots in stomach - try valerian root extract; 2) bloating - drink hot water with lime; 3) ate too much - sip fresh lemon-balm tea; 4) indigestion - chew a handful of fennel seeds; 5) nausea - try ginger slices (Burgoyne, J. (2013, December). Readers remedies: Stomach stress solved. Prevention, 128)"To IMPROVE is to CHANGE" ~Winston Churchill~  #Be encouraged!

TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul TODAY because tomorrow is NOT promised; by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.), YOU can start anew and become a better you. CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN... Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "be the change that you want to see in the world." Have a blessed rest of the week.

Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Passage - Psalm 95:4-6:
"He holds in His hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to Him, for He made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker."

"
The morning sun peeks over the hillside, laying golden streams across the treetops and fields. This is just one of the many scenes that draws my mind to God. The hymn writer writes, “I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder. Thy power throughout the universe displayed...” Many beautiful wonders surround us everyday. Yet there are times that God displays His wonders to us and it is truly breathtaking. And yet, none of those moments will hold a candle to the day we see God in His glory. At the instant our eyes behold Him, we will stand amazed. If, in that moment, I am able to speak, I imagine I might say something like, “Wow... Look at You... I had no idea.” Sometimes we take for granted the wonders of God’s creation. And often, throughout our living, we forget to consider the Glory of God. But a day will come when we will be faced with the most incredible experience we could ever know–the day we come into His Glory–the day we will truly stand amazed."

Interestingly enough, I have many unanswered questions about God, His works, and the contents of the Bible. Sometimes I express my curiosities with others and am ridiculed for daring to question God's authority. However, we as human beings have a natural instinct to inquire about things. I do not believe that my concerns are out of line, because they do NOT alter my faith - a belief in something that is unseen. It's like this, the same way you attribute your good looks to your parents, or your current ambition to a motivator, I attribute my blessings to God. There is NO living human being who can attest to knowing 100% that God is real. OOOO! Hit a sore thumb with that comment, huh? Well it's true. Has anyone on Earth today lived in B.C. and actually walked and talked with Jesus or met God himself, and is still living to tell about it? NO! So I rest my case. Again, our belief in God and His works is based on FAITH - walking in a blind faith WITHOUT tangible evidence. I believe what I believe about God and the Word, because in my heart, despite the many unanswered questions, my spirit-sense reveals to me what I know to be true. That is why I stress the importance of studying yourself; do NOT take anyone's word for anything, do your own research. If we evolved as humans, then explain why monkeys and apes still exist? Why haven't they learned to wear a suit, talk, or shed their coats? Explain how, even if there is controversy over missing books, the Bible has predicted events from past, present, and today? Even the skeptics and scientists revert back to the Bible when arguing their theories. But the truth is, how is science proof? Think about it... everything we know to be true was taught to us by someone else. Is that not like folklore? Who created our language, math, and scientific theory? If it were so accurate, then how come it continues to change over the course of the years? Someone "discovered" formulas and created equations and then taught it to others, who then passed that along, and then someone published books that were then integrated in our education system, right? Technically, we only know science to be true because we learned it that way. Just as scientist discovered what we believe to be tangible proof, prophets passed along their visions of another truth. If people want to ignore their lives, disregard the intricate details scattered around this planet, and dismiss all the wonderful experiences and things that God has allowed in their lives just because they don't get everything they want when they want it, or simply because they fail to see the blessing in their storm, that's their prerogative; an individual's objection of faith does NOT mean that God's prescense is non-existent. In fact, whether you, him, her, them, or me choose to believe in scientific logic or spiritual sense, one day we all stand to be amazed. I'll end this lesson with a popular quote by Albert Camus that states, "I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live as if there isn't and to die to find out that there is."

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant us forgiveness, and for placing upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More so Father, we thank you for removing the guilt we once placed on self, and for removing every thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you for transforming our image into one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives. Thanks for opening supernatural doors in our lives that lead to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Thanks for helping us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation, and for the courage to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. We thank you for discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. Thanks for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you and thank you in advance for working it all out. All these things we claim in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
