Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God for providing us with another day of endless opportunities. Please remember that production gaps for the SOD will continue until I am able to invest in a more reliable computer system, I thank you in advance for your understanding. As a reminder, I'm currently working a custody post, which means that my off days were rearranged, hence the absence of the SOD this past Monday and Tuesday; I kind of used those off days to get into my weekend routine because I was working the weekend, just a few more days of this schedule though and back to my normal schedule come Tuesday. Now let's move forward... According to Prevention Magazine, during the Winter months it is better to "move your workout outside to increase your fat burn... a type of fat cell known as brown fat can sense the cold. To warm up, those cells release their energy as heat, torching calories and melting the other fat - the kind you want to get rid of" (p. 15). Expert Will Lanier, general manager and CrossFit coach at Brick New York fitness studio, suggests "these fun variations of an old-school favorite. Do each for 1 minute, resting 25 seconds after each exercise: 1) Classic - jumping jacks; 2) Plank - push-up position with feet out a few inches; 3) Clapping - stand with arms out to sides at shoulder height, then jump legs out while clapping hands together with arms extended out in front of chest; 4) Twisted - do a classic jumping jack while rotating body 90 degrees with each jump (facing center left/right); and 5) Star - start in squat, jump up and extend legs and arms out to the sides (p. 33) (Peeke, P., & Westcott, W. (2013, December). Fitness: Jack up calorie burn. Prevention, 15 & 33). "To IMPROVE is to CHANGE" ~Winston Churchill~ #Be encouraged!

TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul TODAY because tomorrow is NOT promised; by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.), YOU can start anew and become a better you. CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN... Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "be the change that you want to see in the world." Have a blessed rest of the week.
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes and ears so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

"Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires."

Sometimes, the experience carries with it such joy as is almost indescribable. You’ve known for some time that you needed to go to the eye doctor, and one day, you finally do. All builds up to the moment you don your corrective lenses, and voila, your eyes are opened--things are clearer than they have been in a long time. For me, this experience was elating. I was certain I must have been wearing a very silly looking smile, and was trying to contain myself as best I could. I remember a similar time my eyes were opened. It was when I "put on" the Lord Jesus Christ. All things had suddenly become clear. I was filled with joy, I was elated, and I was kiddingly accused of wearing a silly grin. I often look back on that time with fondness. But the truth is, there is no need to be looking back. Each day with Jesus can be an eye opening experience should we choose to allow God to perform regular "I" exams on each of us. And as He diagnoses and makes His correction, we get to reap the wonder of seeing things in focus once again."

The Bible speaks of transformation - CHANGE, so if we are to be transformed then we are to be changed. Thus, this requires us to TURN-AWAY from the past. So again, there is no need to be looking back. If you failed to listen to God in the past, failed to allow your goings to reveals its intended lesson, and/or failed to recognize a blessing in the storm, then IT IS TIME TO OPEN YOUR EYES when God pulls back the shade. If all arrows are leading you in an unfamiliar direction - God's Word and His Spirit, don your "I" glasses and allow His "corrective lenses" to guide your way.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for the strength we need to forgive those who have wronged us, the same way you continuously grant us forgiveness, and for placing upon those we have wronged the same desire, that we too may be forgiven by them. More so Father, we thank you for removing the guilt we once placed on self, and for removing every thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you for transforming our image into one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives. Thanks for opening supernatural doors in our lives that lead to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Thanks for helping us to see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation, and for the courage to rearrange our priorities, placing you at the top of our list. We thank you for discernment to know the difference between good and bad, right from wrong, and your will vs. our own desires. Thanks for provision, guidance, and protection from Satan’s attacks. By the authority in our words, we reverse all the negativity spoken into existence within our individual lives and the lives of our loved ones and associates. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. Lord we also grant your angels permission to do our bidding on Earth without recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God; we submit our petition to you and thank you in advance for working it all out. All these things we claim in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
