Greetings Everyone,
Yall know it's our favorite time of the week - its end . Please be make responsible decisions this weekend and be sure to prioritize your time appropriately, obligations before relaxation and fun. I still haven't located our choice reading for this Scripture of the Day (SOD) series, The Tongue - A Creative Force by Charles Capps, but I hope to do so this weekend, so that we can wrap it up. I know some of you are probably wondering why I keep referencing certain points in our intro. It's for our new followers, I want to make sure everyone is filled in and up to date. With that said, if you do not own the reading here's a link that will cover some of the concepts from the book previously mentioned: http://www.kcmi.com/revelation_church/showarticle.cfm?article=70. Just to briefly fill-in in the newbies, this SOD series is about the power of the tongue - how the authority in our own words can manifest success or failure in our lives. For your benefit, I have also attached some daily confessions taken from the mentioned reading, that will assist in your ability to optimize the creativity and power in your words. For this series, we open with the same passage and focus on its theme, but for other series', we will focus on one book of the Bible, or discuss different topics each time. I prefer to use the New Living Translation (NLT), but any verses from other Bible translations, will be specified next to the referenced text. These messages are written by myself and based on my personal interpretation of the focal passage, references if any, will be highlighted prior to concluding with the daily prayer, which is also written by myself. This message is typically sent Monday - Friday during my work week. Feel free to share these daily messages, your prayer requests, and praise reports. Also, my blog for the SODs can me found in my signature. Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
Revelation 22:18-19 says, "And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book." I like this verse because it reminds us of the value in individual Bible study. We cannot place trust in man's interpretation, my favorite scripture warns against that (refer to Psalm 118:8). God's word tells us in II Timothy 2:15 (KJV) to "study to shew thyself approved unto God..." We are accountable for the knowledge we obtain from the Word of God and how we choose to apply it to our daily lives. Consider this, if someone told you that the sky was red, would you believe them, or would you go outside to look for yourself? I would go look for myself, because that is contrary to my knowledge of what I know the sky to be. If we do not take the time to study and grasp (to KNOW) God's word through and through, then how can we know true prophesy from false teachings? There are many false prophets amongst us; satan himself was one of God's highest angels, so he has the ability to present himself as a true scholar of God's word. The key is to "not depend on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5); study the Word of God until it becomes engrained in our mind. We should know the God's word like the back of our hands, otherwise we will be deceived by the enemy. Anything that is contrary to the Word of God, goes against His will for our lives. If you do not study God's truth, how will you know fact from fiction or true ministry from false prophets? "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take" (Proverbs 3:5-6). II Timothy 2:15 says, "work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive His approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth."
Prayer of the Day:
Lord we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for your mercies everlasting, your power and your grace. Lord we thank you for your continued protection and for allowing us more days in fellowship. We thank you that all of our sins known and unknown are forgiven and forgotten by you. We thank you for the authority and ability in our own words to claim prosperity, peace, understanding, clarity, comfort, healing, and stability into our lives. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will ever prosper. We thank you for your truth, wisdom, and knowledge provided in the Word. We thank you for every revelation and trial that has helped mold us, and guide our paths. We thank you for restoring our years spent in tears. And we praise you now for the victory over our adversaries. We submit our affirmation of faith to you Father, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen!

DAILY SPIRITUAL-HEALING CONFESSIONS
(***Confess 3 times a day***)
***THE WORD OF GOD CONCEIVED IN MY SPIRIT, FORMED BY MY TONGUE, AND SPOKEN OUT OF MY MOUTH, HAS BECOME CREATIVE POWER THAT IS WORKING FOR ME, BECAUSE I AM SAYING WHAT I HAVE***
TO DEFEAT WORRY AND FEAR:
· “I am the body of Christ and Satan hath no power over me. For I overcome evil with good.” (1 Corinthians 12:27; Romans 12:21)
· “No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for my righteousness is of the Lord. But whatever I do will prosper for I’m like a tree that’s planted by the rivers of water.” (Isaiah 54:7; Psalm 1:3)
· “Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon this body. Every disease germ and virus that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus. Every organ and every tissue of this body functions in the perfection to which God created it to function, and I forbid any malfunction in this body, in the name of Jesus. For greater is He that is in me, than He that is in this world.” (Galatians 3:13; Romans 8:11; Genesis 1:30; Matthew 16:19)
· “No evil will befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling. For you have given your angels charge over me and they keep me in all my ways, and in my pathways is life and there is no death.” (Psalm 91:10-11, Proverbs 12:28)
· “I deny the right of the enemy to exist in my life because God gave me that authority.” (Romans 12:3)
FOR NEEDS TO BE MET:
· “Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Christ has redeemed me from poverty, Christ has redeemed me from sickness, Christ has redeemed me from spiritual death.” (Galatians 3:13; Deuteronomy 28)
· “For poverty He has given me wealth, for sickness He has given me health, for death He has given me eternal life.” (2 Corinthians 8:9; John 10:10; John 5:24)
· “My God supplieth all my need according to His riches in glory, therefore I confess I have abundance, there is no lack, I have all sufficiency of all things, the Word says I do, and I thank you Father for it. Therefore I give it in faith Father, and you will cause it to come to me in the name of Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
FOR WISDOM AND GUIDANCE:
· “The Spirit of truth abideth in me and teaches me all things and He guides me into all truths. Therefore I confess I have perfect knowledge of every situation and every circumstance that I come up against. For I have the wisdom of God.” (John 16:13; James 1:5)
· “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me.” (Psalm 138:8)
· “I receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened. And I am not conformed to this world but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. My mind is renewed by the Word of God.” (Ephesians 1:17-18; Romans 12:2)
FOR COMFORT AND STRENGTH:
· “The peace of God which passeth all understanding keeps my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus. And all things which are good, and pure, and perfect, and lovely, and of good report, I think on these things.” (Philippians 4:7-8)
· “I let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth, but that which is good to edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearer. I grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby I’m sealed unto the day of redemption.” (Ephesians 4:29-30)
· “I let the peace of God rule in my heart and I refuse to worry about anything.” (Colossians 3:15)
· “I will not let the Word of God depart from before my eyes for it is life to me for I have found it and it is health and healing to all my flesh.” (Proverbs 4:21-22)
· “Jesus gave me the authority to use His name. And that which I bind on Earth is bound in Heaven. And that which I loose on Earth is loosed in Heaven. Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind the principalities, the powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world. I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective against me in the matchless name of Jesus.” (Matthew 16:19; Matthew 18:18; Ephesians 6:12)
“I deny the right of disease and illness to exist in my body, because I am the body of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:27, Romans 12:21)
