Hello everyone, I hope your
week is going well thus far. PRAYER REQUESTS: Continue to keep one
another in prayer, as the Spirit leads of course. Always thank God for the
victory, and refrain from claiming defeat from the enemy; also, it is
imperative that you pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome
(refer to the book The Tongue – A Creative
Force, by Charles Capps). ANNOUNCEMENTS: My non-profit
organization will commence its monthly meetings in LA within the next month or
so; however, donations may be made year-round through the PayPal link located
on our website (listed below under Join
Our Cause). Don’t forget to check out my online jewelry boutique at http://TyeDreamsBig.kitsylane.com, and remember that I am here for your child
care needs (Moreno Valley and local surrounding areas), as well as your notary
and loan signing needs; feel free to contact me for mobile notary services and
information about lodging deals with Westgate Resorts. Your continued support
is always appreciated, and please spread the word.
HEALTHY LIVING TIPS:
Change begins within, so if you’re wishing and hoping to see
something different when you look in the mirror, to feel different as you go
about your day, to speak, think and act differently, then YOU must take the
necessary steps required to render your desired results. First, figure out if
you really want to change, or would you
rather covet other people’s results rather than to work for your own? It’s
simple, IF the desire and thirst are real, YOU WILL do what it takes to be
better and feel better. It’s too hard
you say? Find a partner to help motivate you. If you don’t have one in
mind, I can help link you up with a mentor; do NOT be afraid to ask for help. YOU are the key to a healthier
lifestyle.

BE ENCOURAGED: If you believe in God, you can be delivered,
transformed, restored, and your mind can be renewed. The rest of this day isn’t
promised, let alone tomorrow, so why not
strengthen your faith TODAY? Feed your body healthy nutrition, be cautious
of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirit to be exposed to (e.g.
media, books, TV, music, etc.), and YOU can start anew and become a better you,
NOW not later. NEVER lose sight of
God in the midst of adversity… CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN. Ponder this, “Knowledge has to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly, or
it vanishes” (Peter Drucker). Have a blessed rest of the week.
Lord please clear our
minds, and open our eyes, ears, and hearts so that we may see, hear, and
receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
PASSAGE – MATTHEW 6:33:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.”
***Unless otherwise
indicated, all scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version (KJV)
of the Bible***
REFLECTIONS:
“The
beautiful words of Matthew 6:33 have
been memorized and sang about, and have often brought comfort to those who take
these words of Jesus to heart. But how sad is it for Christians who do not take
them to heart. But why don’t they? Hasn’t God promised He will “never leave us, nor forsake
us?” So, how can we read such words and still worry about our needs.
Perhaps it is hard to believe that “all these things will be added,” because we do not “seek first the Kingdom of
God and His righteousness.” Perhaps if we felt that we truly seek Him first, then we would
trust He would provide. Do we seek Him
first? Do we seek Him more than money, things, comforts, entertainment,
personal dreams, desires, ambitions, relationships, etc.? We, like Martha,
are “worried and troubled
about many things” (Luke 10:41). But peace is there for us when we take these words to
heart, seeking God first, and trusting that He will be true to His Word
concerning “all these things” (Chambers, R. (2015, June 02). All these things
[Web log comment]. Retrieved from http://reflections.daybyday.org/).
We
spoke briefly about faith yesterday,
and today this lesson just piggybacks off that subject; FAITH and TRUST in God’s authority is your surefire
way of being blessed beyond measure. The catch is this, it must be in GOD’s
will… “all these things shall be added” is a reference to those
things that God has promised as they fall in line with HIS Word and His will. You
cannot expect for God to act in your life if all your desires and aspirations
are selfish and self-centered. Without
God in the center of it all, you can expect major delays and/or an absence in
His response.
“To seek
“first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness” means to TURN TO HIM FIRST
for help, to fill your thoughts with His desires, to take His character for
your pattern, and to serve and OBEY HIM IN EVERYTHING… [anyone or anything]
can quickly become most important to you if you don’t actively choose to give
God first place in EVERY area of your life” (Tyndale House Publishers. (2004). Matthew. Life
Application Study Bible: King James Version: Notes 6:33 (pp. 1348).

PRAYER
OF THE DAY:
Father God we thank you
for life, health, and strength. Thank you for providing the courage and
strength we need to remove the guilt we've placed on self, and for removing
every negative thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you
for transforming our image into one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is
reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of
your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives.
Thanks for opening supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity,
contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the
clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary.
Please continue to help us see, hear, and feel your presence through every
trial and tribulation, and for discernment to know the difference between your
will vs. our own desires. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us,
and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan and scheme devised against us, in
the matchless name of Jesus. We grant your angels permission to do our bidding
on earth, and thank you for protecting us from its recourse. This is our
affirmation of faith Father God, we submit our petition to you, and claim all
these things in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
