Hello everyone, I hope all is well. Me... I so need a new MacBook. this laptop gives me so many problems it's beyond frustrating. Sad part is, it's a newer HP device with touchscreen and keyboard, got it last year after setting aside some funds to replace my broken laptop. However, trying to complete the SOD from this device is overwhelming, but I'm determined to push through it. Maybe one day it'll miraculously cure itself, because a new MacBook most certainly isn't in my budget, LOL... wishful thinking. Anyway, I pray that as your week moves forward, you continue to remain encouraged and determined to keep God first. PRAYER REQUESTS: As the Spirit leads, please keep one another in prayer; as you pray, remember to thank God for the victory, and to refrain from claiming defeat from the enemy. Also, be sure that you pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome (refer to the book The Tongue – A Creative Force, by Charles Capps). ANNOUNCEMENTS: My non-profit organization will commence its monthly meetings in LA within the next month or so; however, donations may be made year-round through the PayPal link located on our website (listed below under Join Our Cause). Don’t forget to check out my online jewelry boutique at http://TyeDreamsBig.kitsylane.com, and remember that I am here for your child care needs (Moreno Valley and local surrounding areas), as well as your notary and loan signing needs; feel free to contact me for mobile notary services and information about lodging deals with Westgate Resorts. Your continued support is always appreciated, and be sure to spread the word.
HEALTHY LIVING TIPS:
So, your excuse for not working out is 'it's too hard'... well, "no pain, no gain." Your excuse for not changing your diet is, you don't want to eat food without flavor... then don't compromise flavor, just adjust your food ingredients, your cooking techniques, and your portion size. If you get bored easily with routine workouts, change it up... take a yoga class, try out zumba or a class that incorporates fitness with your favorite music genre. Can't afford a gym membership? Use YouTube for free workout routines, and learn how to utilize your own body in resistance training and you'll eliminate the need for fitness equipment altogether (refer to Insanity workouts). Give me your excuse for not leading a healthier lifestyle, and I'll counteract with a tailor-made solution. CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN!

BE ENCOURAGED: NEVER lose sight of God in the midst of adversity… If you believe in God, you can be delivered, transformed, restored, and your mind can be renewed. The rest of this day isn't promised, let alone tomorrow, so why not strengthen your faith TODAY? Feed your body healthy nutrition, be cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and spirit to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.) and YOU can start anew and become a better you, NOW, not later. Ponder this, “Knowledge has to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly, or it vanishes” (Peter Drucker). Have a blessed rest of the week.
Lord please clear our minds, and open our eyes, ears, and hearts so that we may see, hear, and receive your intended message from this fellowship. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
PASSAGE – HEBREWS 13:5:
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
***Unless otherwise indicated, all scripture quotations are taken from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible***
REFLECTIONS:
“Jesus said, "No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and [money]" (Mt. 6:24). We like to feel secure, and we will tend to love that which can make us feel secure. We will tend to "hold to the one" that provides security "and despise" the one that does not. It is not a matter of what you say you believe, but a matter of where you demonstrate that you have placed your trust. Money fluctuates. God is stable. Money is not a sure life-long investment. God is sure to be invested in your long life. We say that our paychecks are spent before we even get them, and leave us wanting. "But my God shall supply all of your needs'” (Chambers, R. (2015, June 03). Love of money [Web log comment]. Retrieved from http://reflections.daybyday.org/).
We've all heard the phrase "actions speak louder than words," and this holds true. For instance, the reason the words "I love you" are often used in vain is because many people use them as a noun and fail to understand that to love is a verb - an action - INSIGNIFICANT as a simple uttered word. So it may come easy for us to claim our Christianity, but when people observe our actions, what is it that we actually convey through our actions and reactions? How do we really show so-called Christ-like ways? Are we merely uttering words, or do the things we think, do, and say mirror an image of someone who is truly Christ-like, even when we think no one is watching? So when you say that you're "too blessed to be stressed," do your actions reflect that statement? Or, are you just spitting out words that sound good, while you're at home worried about what tomorrow will bring? Are you congratulating others on their successes out load, while secretly coveting their marriage, their status or their lifestyle in general?
The Word tells us to "be content with such things as ye have", meaning that regardless of how little or how much we posses, we should find satisfaction. The reality is that we should be content in God alone, but our worldly ties have programmed us to desire that which we do not have, and even that which may prove unattainable. So "how can we learn to be content? Strive to live with less rather than desiring more; give away out of your abundance rather than accumulating more; relish what you have rather than resent what you're missing. We become content when we realize God's sufficiency for our needs. Christians today who become materialistic are saying by their actions that God can't take care of them - or at least He won't take care of them the way they want. Insecurity can lead to the love of money, whether we are rich or poor. The ONLY antidote is to TRUST GOD to meet ALL our needs. See God's love expressed in what He has [already] provided, and remember that money and possessions will pass away" (Tyndale House Publishers. (2004). Hebrews. Life Application Study Bible: King James Version: Notes 13:5, 6 (pp. 1882). Carol Stream, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.).
PRAYER OF THE DAY:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. Thank you for providing the courage and strength we need to remove the guilt we've placed on self, and for removing every negative thought that has held us captive in our own minds. We thank you for transforming our image into one that mirrors Jesus, so that His goodness is reflected in all that we do. Thanks for blessing us with a double portion of your Spirit, and for closing every unnecessary door that is open in our lives. Thanks for opening supernatural doors to peace, prosperity, clarity, contentment, and happiness. We thank you for providing each of us with the clear and concise revelations we need in order to overcome the adversary. Please continue to help us see, hear, and feel your presence through every trial and tribulation, and for discernment to know the difference between your will vs. our own desires. We take back everything the enemy has stolen from us, and bind every evil and malicious plot, plan and scheme devised against us, in the matchless name of Jesus. We grant your angels permission to do our bidding on earth, and thank you for protecting us from its recourse. This is our affirmation of faith Father God, we submit our petition to you, and claim all these things in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Respectfully,
