All honor and glory to God. I'd like to ask for everyone to lift up my soror Brenda Stewart in prayer, praising God for her speedy recovery and comfort from her surgery, thanks in advance. Continue to pray for one another and speak your desired outcome into every circumstance. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."
When we first began our series studying this book, The Tongue - A Creative Force, by Charles Capps, we learned that we have the ability through our very own words to speak prosperity or destruction into our lives; out of the same mouth we can speak life or death, and blessings or curses into existence. The Word says in Matthew 12:34, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." The heart is our spirit, and it is programmed by words. Our faith comes by hearing God's word, and our doubts and fears come by accepting and repeating those things that come from the enemy. When we speak those things that are contrary to the word of God, thus being a product of the devil, then we are establishing his words on Earth, and in turn being held in bondage by them; God cannot intervene in our lives when we doubt His abilities because we've accepted and spoken or prayed satan's lies instead of God's truth. Since most people think with the logic of this world, think about this... you wouldn't go around confessing and backing up the very thing your enemies said, would you? The enemy's words are designed to work against you, right? So then WHY do you take time to speak negativity into existence, and put faith in the devil's deceit? Satan is our ENEMY, and our victory over EVERY circumstance is already won through the blood of the Lamb, thus, our worries and concerns should be NO MORE. The power in our tongue should CONFESS what we want, the faith in our heart should BELIEVE that we've already received it, and then we can ACCEPT our desired result and wait patiently and confidently as God works it out according to His perfect plan. God honors our faith-filled words. In order for good things to depart from our mouth, and to be backed by our faith, we must first program the word of God in our spirit (heart). Proverbs 4:23 says, "above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." In the heart, resides our feelings of love and our desires, and to a great extent, the heart sets the foundation for which direction we choose to go in life. So, keep your eyes fixed on God's word, and allow the Father to tame your tongue so that you will speak ONLY those things that fall in line with His word, and you will not be sidetracked by the adversaries deceit. You can have what you say, so STOP speaking the WRONG things into existence; STOP speaking your UNDESIRED outcomes and SPEAK THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART as they fall in line with the Word of God. We need to learn to lead our lives based on the word of God and NOT our feelings, because how we feel changes day to day, but God's word NEVER changes; The Word remains the same no matter what our mental or emotional state of being may be. If we are praying for healing and/or deliverance, but do not have faith that we have already been healed and/or delivered, then that prayer is in vain. God's word says, "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up..." (James 5:15). Learn to operate in the ABILITY OF GOD and release that ability IN YOU, by the FAITH FILLED WORDS of Your mouth. Remember that it is through Your very own words that You establish failure or success in your life. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health, and strength. We thank you for giving us back the strength and faith in our ability to use our words to produce favorable outcomes. We thank you for Brenda's speedy recovery and for her comfort in the meantime Father. We thank you for redemption, and for the ability to reverse the negativity we once spoke into existence. Today we deny the right of the enemy to exist in our lives. We thank you for restoring the years that we've spent in tears Father God. We thank you for removing the heavy load that we once tried to carry alone. We thank you for deliverance from pain, suffering, debts, struggles, and worries. Father God we thank you for the ability to stand firm through the test of our trials. We thank you for the discernment to know when the enemy is afoot, and for the strength to take control through our faith-filled words. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper. We thank you for your continued blessings of protection, and we thank you for the peace that passeth all understanding. This is our affirmation of faith Father God, we submit to you in the name of Jesus, Amen!
