So today, I was in route to work when I noticed my tire pressure light was on, which happens quite frequently since I have run flat tires I presume. So I stopped at the gas station to put some air in the tire, and noticed a nice sized piece of metal lodged in the side of my tire; the tire pressure light didn't go off as it normally does. Long story short, I had to replace the tire... $360+ down the drain for one lousy tire. And did I mention, they wanted to replace the other rear tire as well? Oh hecks naw, I either need to downgrade my vehicle, or go back to regular tires. Anyway, I hope yallz week is going well so far, despite any obstacles, praise God anyhow. As you continue through the week, continue to pray for one another and speak your desired outcome into every circumstance and do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). The enemy comes to steal your finances, kill your faith, and destroy your health. Jesus came to undo the devil's work. I John 3:8 says, "But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil." Our translation reads "destroy," but in the literal Greek reads "UNDO." Undo is to reverse what's been done. Hasn't that been what this series is all about? Speaking positivity into our lives to reverse the negativity that we have established by our very own mouth. Galatians 3:13 says, "But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law..." In Deuteronomy chapters 28-30, the curse of the law is broken down into three parts: poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. God's word says that, "Christ hath REDEEMED us from the curse of the law." Redeemed meaning, He SAVED us, He RESCUED us, He DELIVERED us all, from the curse of poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. The problem is us. We have used the power of the tongue, to speak those very curses into existence, and through our lack of faith and doubts in God's promise, we have allowed those things to remain. If we were more faith-full, then we would be comfortable with saying and praying those things that be not as though they were. We would be confident that whatever we ask in faith, we SHALL receive, while we are actually placing our TRUST in God for our desired results. Of course this is NOT my way of encouraging you to write a check that you know will bounce, and this is NOT a suggestion for you to live above your means. Rather, today's lesson is an encouragement for YOU to SPEAK God's word, until it manifests the means you desire. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we come to you with praise and thanks for another day living. We are aware that our current status may not be our ultimate desire, but we have peace knowing that some day, according to your will and time, we will be blessed with the desires of our heart. We thank you now for victory and defeat over the enemy. We thank you for the peace that passeth all understanding. We thank you for relief and comfort from our past sorrows and pain. We thank you for blessing us abundantly in our health, within our homes, in our finances, in our spirit, in our heart, and in our mind. We thank you for taming our tongue, so that what departs from our mouth is fruitful and produces good of its kind. We thank you for your promise, for our discernment, and for our revelation. We thank you for restoring all the years we've spent in tears, by allowing us to reverse our undesired outcomes to produce our desired results, by the very own words of our mouth. These things we ask for humbly and thank you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
