Greetings Everyone,
I hope yall had a great weekend. Me, I had a blast hanging out with my BFFs... just spending some quality time with each other and chill'laxing, it was nice. Anyway, as you continue through the week, continue to pray for one another and speak your desired outcome into every circumstance and do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
Father God we thank you for the sacrifice of your only Son to save our sins and provide us with a super natural healing that people of this world cannot comprehend. We thank you for taming our tongue that the words of our mouth may always be pleasing in your sight, and will always produce positive and favorable outcomes in every circumstance. Lord we thank you that you are NOT like man; you love us despite our downfalls, despite past doubts and frustrations in your abilities, you love us and forgive us unconditionally, so we thank you and praise your glorious name Father. Lord we thank you for complete healing that has restored our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical state of being. We thank you for joyful attitudes in the midst of adversity, cheerful moods in the face of the enemy, peace in our storms, and comfort through our trials. We thank you for your continued protection over each of us individually, our families, our friends, our homes, our modes of transportation, and those homes and families in our surrounding areas. We thank you for the ability to smile even though our mountain appears to be too big, but we thank you that it will all work out for the better, according to your perfect plan. We praise your name, thanking you that our burdens, debts, and obstacles are no longer holding us hostage. We thank you for releasing any form of bondage holding us back from a deeper relationship with you, and for giving us the freedom to raise our hands humbly in praise to you. We thank you for the victory over sin, satan, and his demons, in the matchless name of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen!
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."
God does NOT force His will on any of us, He allows us to make our own decisions in life - to follow His teachings or reject Him and follow the way of this world, which is unfortunately influenced by the devil. Our ultimate decision is to choose life or death. Deuteronomy 30:14 says, "... the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it." And verses 19-20 in this same chapter says, "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land..." Once we form an intimate relationship with Christ, then God's message - His Word, is near and dear to our heart, it is easily formed by our tongue and spoken out of our mouth, not just to share God's Gospel, but also that we may stay reminded of His glory and abide by His commands. The purpose of our studies and repetition in such, is that reading, studying, speaking, and living according to the word of God, becomes habitual. The hardest part of that commitment would probably be for us to decide to start now, as opposed to putting it off yet another hour, day, week, or year that is NOT promised. All throughout the Bible, a frequent term used is "shall," which doesn't mean maybe or sometimes, it means that it WILL come to pass. When the Lord spoke, He said, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them" (Mark 11:24). He did NOT say, 'pray for the things you desire, and if you believe that you've received them, then there is a 50% chance that you may acquire them.' NOPE! It says plain and clear "YE SHALL HAVE THEM." The Lord uses the same terms to the enemy; look atDeuteronomy 30:17-18 which says, "But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and thatye shall not prolong your days upon the land..." Those are guarantees, the Lord is about His word, and will ALWAYS follow through. I think that is probably why respectable people stay true to their word, like the saying, "my word is my bond." God was the first to establish that respect, and if we are walking in His light, that should also be a personal commitment for each of us as His children, to follow through on our words. God gave us the CHOICE to choose either life or death, prosperity or destruction, salvation or hell. Our decisions begin with the WORDS we CHOOSE to speak out of our mouth. We have the ability to speak life (positive outcomes) into every situation, we just have to learn to use what we already have (our words), by saying and praying the answer to the problem (our desired outcome), IN FAITH (complete trust in the Lord's promise without any doubts). The answer is in your confession; it is BELIEVING and CONFESSING what the Word says, "be thou REMOVED." Continually confess that although your problem seems to have gotten worse "thank you Father, in the name of JESUS, my burden has been REMOVED." There is creative power within Your words, so You must learn to use Your words wisely. Repetition is the key to memorizing, and practice is pivotal to getting it right. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)
