Message of Deliverance (9/15/11)

Greetings Everyone,
I've been surprisingly productive today. I had a talk with a dear friend of mine yesterday, and let's just say God works in mysterious ways. Lemme tell you, 6 years ago, you would NOT have been able to convince me that he'd be where he is today, spiritually. God is amazing! Anyway, he was telling me about the programs he watches on TBN, better known to me as "the Church channel," LOL. Anyway, so I came home today and was watching channel 40 all day. Today they celebrated 38 years in broadcasting, and they launched their new internet media, where you can watch all of your favorite programming that they feature on their TV network. It has all kinds of cool features on the site too, so just in case you're interested, here's the link http://www.itbn.org/, enjoy! Continue to pray and speak your desired outcome into every circumstance, and DENY the problem the right to exist in your lifeDo NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."

God gave us a message of deliverance, which states that we can have what we say, IF we BELIEVE in our HEART and NOT doubt. The Word says in Matthew 12:34 that, "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." So what exactly does your heart set its sight on? It is safe to assume that most us would prefer to wash our hands before a meal, right? Well in Matthew the 15th chapter, there was discussion about Jesus' disciples eating without washing their hands first. Almost like a reflex, you think, "gross," right? But in verse 11, Jesus said, "What goes into someone's mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them." And if we take a look at verses 17-18 He said, "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them." Jesus couldn't be clearer than that; what YOU speak out of YOUR mouth is in YOUR heart, and when you allow the words to depart YOUR lips, whatever YOU say is set into motion. Praise God that we have been redeemed, and reminded that in the same fashion that we have spoken negativity into our lives, we can reverse the unwanted outcomes, and claim positivity and favorable results THROUGH THE WORDS THAT WE SPEAK. If the adversary wants to sell you some "As seen on TV" type of bologna (BULL-LONE-NEE), YOU DO NOT have to make a purchase; tell the enemy to FLEE in the name of the Lord, and do NOT receive the garbage he's tryna leave at your door step. The word says that "the tongue can defile the whole body," but the tongue is NOT just limited to self destruction, NOPE, the words that YOU speak can be the very demise of someone else, and/or various failures in other avenues of your life and the ones you love. God's words began the creative power, but praise the Lord that He has been so gracious as to pass on that same ability to us, but we cannot activate this power without faith. Now I'm not saying to try to recreate the world, naw, I'm saying YOU have the ability within YOUR WORDS to create a different world that you live in, by speaking FAITH-FILLED WORDS instead of words of fear, doubt, and negativity. Matthew 12:35 says, "A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him..." Jesus said the "good things" of life come from YOUR HEART, so whatever YOU choose to store in YOUR heart - the information you program in your spirit - will produce after its kind. So if you store jealousy, envy, bitterness, negativity, and doubt in your heart, then so shall YOU reap unfavorable situations, worries, stress, depression, and burdens that could prove less burdensome with FAITH-FILLED confessions. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). TO BE COMMITTED TO SERVING GOD, IS TO BE SUBMITTED TO HIS WORD! In Matthew 4:4, Jesus said, "...Man shallnot live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." Your heart and spirit are one in the same, so by programming your spirit with God's word, you are filling your heart with the Word of God, which in turn will allow the Holy Spirit to control (tame) the words that You speak, so that the only words that depart Your mouth, are good to edifying, that they may minister grace to the hearer. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit works on us from the inside out, and can tame our tongue if we will take heed to the Word of God, and allow the Spirit to work on us. There is creative power within Your words, so ACCEPT His message of DELIVERANCE, and learn to use Your words wisely. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Lord God we praise your Holy name, thanking you for the blessings in the storm, the rainbows after the rain, and the gifts you give us that we sometimes overlook because of how it's packaged. Father God please reveal to each individual the personal message that you have intended for them to receive from this lesson, and continue to open the eyes, heart, mind, and spirit of those who may still be holding back from allowing you to reveal to them who they really are, and what specific mission you have called them to. We thank you for changed hearts, for restored spirits, for deliverance, joy, and overwhelming peace and understanding. We thank you Father for clarity of our current circumstances, for contentment despite our trials, and for the ability to keep smiling because you have filled us with happiness through your strong presence around us and within us. Father God we thank you for allowing your Spirit to tame our tongue, that the words that depart our mouth are nothing more or less than pleasing in your sight. Hallelujah Father, we give you the highest praise, for every trial that has brought us to the point of deeper spirituality, and for every blessing that we can be a blessing to others and give you all the honor and praise in the process. We thank you, submitting our desired results in prayer, only in the name of your Son, Christ Jesus, Amen!
