Watch your words (9/21/11)

Greetings Everyone,
God is great, all the time. Please share with us your testimonies, they help encourage others, and you never know how your triumph will help your other brothers and sisters in Christ. My testimony is this, the devil has been on me, tryna attack my finances, my friendships, my sanity, and other relationships, be it personal or professional. Yet, after a rut of at least two month, I have been redeemed, I have persevered, and when I've felt like crying, instead I am able to smile, because I know that God's PERFECT plan is in the works. How is God working in your life? You have the ability to speak positive outcomes into existence, so continue to Pray and Speak your desired results into every circumstance, and STOP dwelling on the problem that once WAS. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."

Surrender all to God, and STOP allowing the enemy to convince you to settle for negativity. Your fears and doubt are what activates the devil's ability to cloud your mind, and force you to lose focus of God's promise. FAITH however, brings God on the scene of not some, but ALL of your circumstances. Before you allow yourself to speak on your situation, take a moment to think about what you are about to say. Do those words fall in line with the word of God? If not, then they are contrary to His guidance, thus, are a product of the adversary. DO NOT ALLOW words that contradict God's promise to depart from your mouth, ever. Remember that it is through Your very own words that You establish failure or success in your life. God's word says, "speak those things that be not, as though they were" (Romans 4:17). His word says, "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them" (Matthew 15:17-18)The only ability the devil has over you is to DECEIVE you. So if he can get you to believe his lies and confess them, in turn he gets you to bind your blessings from God, and he places a void on your prayers, making them ineffective. Matthew 16:19 says, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." The reality is that our battles were are already won. God's word says, "You, dear children, are from God and haveovercome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (I John 4:4). Revelation 12:11 says, "They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..." This says we have "overcome" and have "triumphed over him," by the "WORD" of our "testimony." Testimony is synonymous with the terms affirmation, and declaration; What is your affirmation of faith? What things will you declare into existence? I for one will NOT go for satan's schemes NO more, I refuse. I declare victory and defeat over the enemy in the name of Jesus. I proclaim happiness and the peace that surpasses all understanding. My affirmation of faith is that from now on, my circumstances will be desirable and produce only joyful memories. I'm establishing what God has already prepared for me, by speaking His promises into existence in my own life. GOD gave YOU the authority to do the same; Don't prolong agony, QUIT agreeing with the enemy and TAKE back what he has stolen from you! "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). The word says, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24). (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Lord we thank you for your grace and mercy. We thank you for the peace that passeth all understand. Father God we thank you for the knowledge that satan is a deceiver, and for the ability in our words alone to defeat the enemy. We thank you for your continued love, grace, and protection. We thank you for the ability to smile when we are hurting. We thank you for revealing what darkness has kept in the shade. We thank you for providing clarity in the midst of satan's confusion. We thank you for the victory over sin, defeat over the enemy, and deliverance from a heavy load of burdens. We thank you for the strength to keep on keeping on, and the power of our words to make the devil flee. We thank you for reversing all the negative and restoring complete positivity into every facet of our lives. We thank you for keeping us filled with the Spirit, that the words that depart our mouth, no longer posses corruption, rather, our words now speak life into every circumstance. These things we claim and thank you for, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
