So first let me apologize about Friday. I came home with the intention to "nap," as I always do, and that turned into sleep that lasted well into the following morning, my bad. I'm need to really get a normal sleep pattern going asap before I enroll back into school. Anyway, for those who are not familiar with my schedule, I normally send out the SOD on my normal work days, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays and most vacation days; I know lots of you miss the SOD in its absence, but do NOT be dependent on this daily scripture, be dependent on God's word in general; God will NEVER go on vacation, NEVER will He go on sabbatical, and NEVER will He miss a day that you look to Him for guidance and comfort. Also, because our goal now is to PRAY and SPEAK the ANSWER (desired outcome) of every situation, if you do not see your name in the daily prayer, but you notice your concern, please know that the answer we are speaking is on your behalf; I have not neglected your personal prayer requests, I just have a guaranteed strategy now. Praise reports on the other hand, once you reveal to me that our prayers have manifested, then you will see your name specifically. Remember, You have the ability to speak life (positivity) into every situation, just the same, You have the ability to speak death (bind God's blessings through negativity) into existence as well. Pray and Speak the ANSWER (your desired outcome) into every circumstance, and STOP dwelling on the problem. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."
The negativity we have spoken into our own lives was a choice, one that satan offered us and unfortunately, we gladly accepted. For example, a runny nose, an ache in your body, and anxiety; what will you say about that? Most of us will say, "I'm coming down with a cold," speaking the exact words that the devil expects of us. So you have some known symptoms of sickness, and? These symptoms are how your body is feeling, but what will YOU SPEAK into existence? The moment you confess out of your mouth that these symptoms are leading to something more serious, then you have placed your faith into that outcome; you have established the words of the enemy and accepted satan's request to allow that sickness to develop and reside in your body. If Jesus said that we can have what we say, then why do we keep speaking negativity into our own lives, in essence, causing the healing power of our words and God's ability to bless us, to stop? There are two forms of healing that we have the authority to speak into existence, there is the natural healing ability that our bodies posses to fight off illness, and then there is God's divine healing that says "yes" when the doctors say "no"; both forms of healing can be placed in bondage by the very words we say (confess) out of our mouth. Satan knows that his abilities are LIMITED to what he can get us to say out of the mouth, and what he can get us to believe; The healing ability is already in our body, but the devil lives to distort this reality. He knows that Jesus said we can have what we say and he believes that, so once the enemy has succeeded in convincing us to confess negativity into our own lives, he has accomplished what he's set out to do - cause us to establish failure into our own lives. Take a moment to think about the last time you experienced some known symptoms of sickness, what was the first thing you did? You probably told some people "I'm getting sick," then your symptoms began to get worse immediately or soon thereafter, right? By confessing "I'm sick," you have established the words of the enemy instead of God's Word, openly allowing the symptoms to reside in your body, and in turn blocking your body's natural defense capabilities. 1 Peter 2:24 says, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." That passage doesn't say we are "going to be" healed, but that by the stripes of Jesus we "WERE HEALED"; the outcome is already established, but it is up to YOU to accept and proclaim that victory. DENY the right of disease and illness to exist in your body, because you are the Body of Christ. You can have what you say, so STOP speaking the WRONG things into existence; STOP speaking your UNDESIRED outcomes and SPEAK THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART into existence, as they fall in line with the Word of God. We need to learn to lead our lives based on the word of God and NOT our feelings, because how we feel changes day to day, but God's word NEVER changes; The Word remains the same no matter what our mental or emotional state of being may be. If we are praying for healing but do not have faith that we have already been healed, then that prayer is in vain. God's word says, "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up..." (James 5:15). Trust me, I'm not knocking you if you still prefer to seek medicinal regimens from a doctor, but I encourage you to learn to operate in the ABILITY OF GOD. Prayer of the Day:
Lord we thank you for another day living, and another day filled with your presence. We thank you for blessings both big and small, and especially for those blessings we are able to share with others. Lord we thank you for reestablishing our body's ability within, to naturally heal itself. We also thank you for your divine healing, that has removed all disease that man has said is incurable. Lord we thank you for restoring the years that we've spent suffering spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Lord we thank you for your omnipresence that gives us a joy that allows us to smile through the tears, keep on keeping on through the obstacles, and continue to praise through the trials. Father God we thank you for strong marriages, strengthened relationships, peaceful homes, healthy babies, gainful employment, tranquility in every environment, deliverance from those things and people from our past and present who have held us captive through strong thoughts of regret and resentment, and we thank you for removing all of our debts and ensuring that our every desire is met according to your riches in glory. We thank you for your continued protection, and the encampment of your angels and peace surrounding us 24/7. Father God this is our prayer in the name of Jesus, and we always thank you for the victory that you have already proclaimed. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
