Word produce after their kind (9/29/11)

Greetings Everyone,
Sorry about yesterday, I took one of my 12 hour naps, LOL. I had my alarm set to wake me up at 8pm and although I do recall the alarm sounding, it is quite evident that I didn't actually get out of bed, hence the absence of yesterday's SOD. But today, I have an appointment that I thought was at 0945 but it's actually at 1145, so I figured I have some time to work on the scripture before I leave the house. I want to start today off by commanding satan, his demons, and evil spirits to flee... "enemy, be thou removed in the name of Jesus, I give permission for God's angels and Holy Spirit to surround and fill each of us with your presence this day, is my confession in the name of Jesus, Amen." Continue to pray and speak your desired outcome into every circumstance and do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God Bless!

Passage James 3:5-8 (NIV):
"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison."

"The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the speech of the upright rescues them" (Proverbs 12:6)Our deliverance, our salvation, our healing, and our restoration is as close as the mouth. The words that we formulate with our tongue, controls what we speak in faith or fear. All of those things I just mentioned, God already provided through the blood of the Lamb, but we must CONFESS with our mouth, and BELIEVE in our heart (spirit), before we can receive these blessings. Words produce after their kind, so if allz you speak is negativity, then so shall that follow you. Again, I challenge you to sit back and reflect on the unfavorable things that have occurred in your life. Then, reflect on your comments prior to those events and/or after. What could you have said differently, that would have influenced a better mood and attitude toward your circumstance? I know that it is not logical to the mind of flesh, to "speak those things that be not as though they were," but that is the rationale of Christian sense - this makes sense to a Christian, because our belief system is based on what we cannot see; we "walk by faith not by sight." They say that after 15 consecutive days of doing something, it becomes habitual, so if we are speaking our affirmations on a DAILY basis, and studying God's word each day, then those things will become a part of us. We will NOT have to try to convince ourselves that the power in our words is real, we will KNOW and TRUST that we have the ability, simply because God's word says we do. But also be mindful that the closer you become with Christ, the harder the enemy will try to break you down. STOP him in his tracks, make him FLEE before he can even influence a reaction out of you. Canton Jones has a song with a chorus that says, "I'ma stay saved." He goes through various circumstances that one would be tempted to fight, curse, or just get down right ignorant. For example, he says, "when I go to the refrigerator and somebody done ate my sweet potato pie, I'ma stay saved." I used that verse because at my job, some people eat your lunch and drink your juice even with your name labeled on it, and it is frustrating to go 8 hours without a snack at least. So if your mouth was watering for some pie, and you get to the fridge only to find it gone, you may be tempted to use some vulgarity, or maybe that's just me. Anyway,God intends on us not to simply read His word, but to study it, and become one with it, so that we are wise in the word and abide by it. Joshua 1:8 says, "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do." If we are one with the word, then ALL we do will be according to God's will. We will speak, think, act, and react, in a manner that is pleasing to our Father in Heaven. Success in the eyes of the world, will have you seeking monetary gain, high professional titles, high end fashion, cars, etc. just to maintain respect from your peers or persons in a higher class than you. But if our ultimate goal is to maintain our place in Heaven, then our search for "success" should be only in those things that are pleasing to the Lord, NOT the world's temporal standards. Success in God's eyes is eternal, so stay fixed on God's word and His will, abide by His commands, and only speak what God's word says, do NOT speak or pray contrary to the word of God unless you want your prayers to be in vain and your desires not to be fulfilledIt is through Your very own words that You establish failure or success in your life. (Capps, Charles. The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House, 1976.)

Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for our goings and comings, the good and bad moments of life. We thank you for our failures and triumphs Father, because we know that all these things have enhanced our growth and influenced our relationship with you for the better. We thank you for the strength to keep moving forward, the ability to make the enemy flee, and the authority in our words to claim healing, peace, deliverance, restoration, and salvation. We thank you that in the name of Jesus, we can claim these things and receive them through faith. We thank you for the victory over our previous and present battles, as well as those to come. We thank you for success in your eyes Father, success in living a life that falls in line with your word and will for us individually and specifically. We thank you for your continued protection, necessary revelations and endings, exciting beginnings, forgiveness, grace and mercy. We thank you for the ability and strength to forgive those who have wronged us, but to also forgive ourselves. Although illogical to the mind of flesh, we thank you for the ability to be like you and forget the matters of our lives and memories that cannot be changed or altered; we thank you for helping us to move forward. This is our confession in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
