Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Hope yall had a
great day. I had a cool workout today as well as a nutritious meal for dinner.
Share with us how your week has been so far... Anyhow, I have several friends
working on their doctorial degree. No one knows the time, energy, and
commitment that goes into the process, until they have experienced it
firsthand, or have been exposed to the blood, sweat, and tears indirectly. So,
this evening, I ask that you join me in praying for the successful defense and
acceptance of dissertations presented by Antonio Montgomery, Dannie Kamack,
Hair Craigs, Nicole Knight, and Nicole Woodard. Also, pray for my sister Keona,
who is seeking full-time permanent employment as a Medical Assistant. As we
continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage one
another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul; TRANSFORM
your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy nutrition, and being
cautious of what things we allow our eyes, ears, and spirits to be exposed to
(e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so
START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because tomorrow is NOT promised.
Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and
refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your
desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God
Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing
that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And
the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting
your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by
hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish,
but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of
deadly poison."
For Material Needs:
"For poverty He has given me wealth, for
sickness He has given me health, for death He has given me eternal life" derived
from II Corinthians 8:9, John 10:10, and John 5:24 (Capps, 1976, p. 153). Reference: Capps,
C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa,
Oklahoma: Harrison House
II Corinthians 8:9 says, “You
know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for
your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.” “The thief’s purpose is to steal and
kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” (John
10:10). John 5:24 states,
“... those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal
life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed
from death into life.” God promised us eternal life if we follow His commands.
Jesus suffered a most brutal death, as the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of you
and I. By His stripes we are healed, by His blood
we are forgiven and delivered of our sins, and by our faith and acceptance of
Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, WE ARE SAVED!
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for this day, and ask that
you will forgive everything we may have thought, said, or did that was not
pleasing in your sight. We thank you for life, health, strength, salvation,
deliverance, and restoration. We thank you for providing a solid foundation to
base our lives upon, and for the peace that passeth all understanding. We
praise you for our ability to use your Word as the stabilizing force in our
lives, to claim and accept the authority to rebuke the rulers of the darkness
of this world; through the words of our mouths, we take back everything the
devil has stolen from us. We cancel every plot, plan, and scheme the enemy has
devised against us in the matchless name of Jesus, and declare that no weapon
formed against us will prosper. We thank you for the successful defense,
presentation, and acceptance of the dissertation by Antonio, Dannie, Hair,
Nicole K., and Nicole W. We also claim and thank you in advance, for full-time
and permanent employment for Keona. We thank you for your blessings – old, new,
present, and future. We also thank you for allowing your angels to do our
bidding on Earth without recourse. We thank you in advance that our needs and
desires are met. We submit this affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
