Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! Hope yall had a
great day. As we continue to work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also
encourage one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body,
and soul; TRANSFORM your body, mind, and soul by feeding your body healthy
nutrition, and being cautious of what things you allow your eyes, ears, and
spirits to be exposed to (e.g. media, books, TV, music, etc.). Have you fed
your spirit today? CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, so START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY, because
tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue to keep one another in prayer,
thanking God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the
enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity. God
Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue is a small thing
that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And
the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting
your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by
hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish,
but no one can tame the
tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
For Material Needs:
"It is true unto me according to the Word of
God,” derived from Psalm 119:25. "I delight in the Lord and He gives me
the desires of my heart,” derived from Psalm 37:4. (Capps, 1976, p.
153). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative
Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House.
Psalm 119:25 says, “I lie in the
dust; revive me by your word.” It is my interpretation that the first
affirmation of faith listed, is referencing what is true for our individual
paths as it pertains to the Word of God; the more time we spend in the Word,
the more it becomes ingrained in our minds. Once we have become one with the
Word of God and fully understand His law, then our minds and thought processes
will transform – our desires will gradually fall in line with the will of God,
because as our minds will be renewed, as will our desires. “Take delight in the Lord, and he will
give you your heart’s desires” (Psalm 37:4). The second affirmation has
a concise explanation in my Life Application Study Bible, that I would be
remiss if I didn’t share verbatim. “To delight in someone means to experience
great pleasure and joy in his or her presence. This happens only when we
know that person well. Thus, to delight in the Lord, we must know him better.
Knowledge of God’s great love for us will indeed give us delight” (The Life Application Study Bible New
International Version. (1991). Psalm Chapter 37 - Footnotes (p.
942). Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.). Do NOT limit your time spent in the Word to
the SODs. Instead, STUDY the Word of God outside of this fellowship, and ask that the Spirit
reveal God’s intended message for you, so that you too may experience delight in the Lord.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for life, health,
strength, and all that you have blessed us with. We ask that you will forgive
everything we may have thought, said, or did that was not pleasing in your
sight. We thank you for salvation, deliverance, and restoration. We praise you
for our ability to use your Word as the stabilizing force in our lives, to
claim and accept the authority to rebuke the rulers of the darkness of this
world; through the words of our mouths, we take back everything the devil has
stolen from us. Lord we thank you for comfort, encouragement, and support from
our loved ones and associates. We thank you for peace of mind, and relief when
we need it most. We thank you for increased knowledge and understanding as we
delight in you. Right now we petition defeat over our adversaries, binding
every evil and malicious plot, plan, and scheme devised against us. We confess
that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, in the name of Jesus. We also
thank you for allowing your angels to do our bidding here on Earth, without
recourse. We thank you in advance that our needs and desires are met. We submit
this affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen

put confidence in man." (Psalm 118:8)
