Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! If
you would like to become a volunteer for my non-profit organization, FMBS Inc.,
please send your information to sustenance@fmbs-inc-bytye.org (for more info
visit the website at http://fmbs-inc-bytye.org,
the site will be updated soon to include newly appointed board members and
volunteers). As we fellowship through the SOD, we are assisting one another in
developing a closer relationship with our Father in Heaven via a renewed mind
through the Word of God. The more we learn about the will of God, the more we will
strengthen in our Christian walk. Take a moment to evaluate your walk... are you the same
“Christian” when you think no one is watching, or do you put on a facade in
front of people and unveil the truth when you are alone? If your thought
process, and your daily living do not fall
in line with the Word of God, then IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO CHANGE something
in your routine; CHANGE BEGINS WITHIN, START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY.
Continue to keep one another in prayer, thanking
God for the victory, and refraining from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS
pray for your desired result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do NOT lose sight of God in the midst of
adversity, God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue
is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great
forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of
wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire,
for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals,
birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It
is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
To defeat worry and fear:
"Christ has redeemed me from
the curse of the law. Therefore, I forbid any sickness or disease to come upon
this body. Every disease germ and virus that touches this body dies instantly
in he name of Jesus. Every organ and every tissue of this body functions in the
perfection to which God created it to function, and I forbid any malfunction in
this body, in the name of Jesus" derived
from Galatians 3:13, Romans 8:11, Genesis 1:30, and Matthew 16:19 (Capps, 1976,
p. 152). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The
Tongue - A Creative Force. Tulsa, Oklahoma: Harrison House
Galatians 3:11-14 says, "it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep
the law. For the Scriptures say, ‘It is through faith that a righteous person
has life.’ This way of faith is very different from
the way of law, which says, ‘It is through obeying the law that a person has
life.’ But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he
was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For
it is written in the Scriptures, ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’ Through
Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised
to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit
through faith.” Romans 8:10-12 states that “Christ
lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit
gives you life because you have been made right with God. The
Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God
raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by
this same Spirit living within you. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you
have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.” In Genesis
1:29-30 God said, “’Look! I have given you every
seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And
I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in
the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has
life.’ And that is what happened.” Matthew 16:18-19 reveals, “... I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not
conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you
permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”
The affirmation for this evening is one of my
favorites. The passages from which this affirmation is derived, compares man’s
law versus the concept of faith... trusting in God redeems, delivers, and
restores man. On the contrary, man’s law cannot justify nor save man, rather it
condemns man – since we are all sinners, we are all brought into condemnation
under the “law,” which cannot be reversed. However, through Jesus’ crucifixion,
He bore our sins and punishment to provide healing and salvation. Typically,
people sin and sin again, making promises to change, only to turnaround and
break those promises. Through faith in God, and acceptance of salvation by
the blood of the Lamb, we have the opportunity to break that cycle of failure.
Because of sin we die in the flesh, but because of righteousness we live in the
Spirit. We do not have to become victims of persuasion by the desires of our
flesh; instead we can follow God’s commands, seek refuge in the Lord through
repentance, and accept God’s promise of eternal life for those who obey his
commands. God expects us to take responsibility for our actions and to take
charge over the world’s happenings. “God was
careful how He made this Earth. We must not be careless about how we take care
of it” (Life Application Study Bible NIV, Tyndale, footnotes p. 7).
Together, we as believers, form the “church,” and are protected from evil
wickedness. We are responsible for helping others come to Christ. We have
the key of life, redemption, deliverance, and salvation through the words of
our own mouth; YOU have the ability to speak life or death into every
situation, so choose your words wisely. Fore what
you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven, and what you loose on Earth will be
loosed in Heaven (Matthew 16:19); YOUR
words can either make or break you – claim success or speak failure, it’s your
choice.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for this day, for
forgiveness of our sins, and for providing a solid foundation to base our lives
upon. We thank you for your knowledge and wisdom, for your peace that passeth
all understanding, and for revealing all things necessary for our personal and
spiritual growth. We thank you for complete knowledge and clarity of every
circumstance we come up against, for contentment despite our trials, and for
the ability to use your Word as the stabilizing force in our lives. Father God
we thank you for allowing your Spirit to tame our tongue, that the words that
depart our mouth are nothing more or less than pleasing in your sight. We
rebuke the rulers of the darkness of this world, and through the words of our
mouths, we take back everything the devil has stolen from us – physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual health, finances, relationships, marriages,
children, unity, peace, wisdom and knowledge. We cancel every plot, plan, and
scheme the enemy has devised against us in the matchless name of Jesus, and
declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper. We speak life and
blessings into every situation, reversing all negatives into positives. We
thank you in advance that our needs and desires are met. We submit this
affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Respectfully,
Tylesha "Tye" Allen
