Greetings Everyone,
All honor and glory be to God! I
hope yall had a wonderful weekend... yeah, I know, it could be longer, but it’s
not. Let’s just be grateful for whatever situation we were able to return to. I
want to remind everyone that I am still looking for interested volunteers for

volunteers). As we work together to spread God’s Gospel, let us also encourage
one another to take steps that lead to a healthy overall mind, body, and soul;
work toward your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. As we feed
our minds with God’s Word, let us also feed our bodies with better nutrition. I
know it’s hard, but together we can reach new heights. Take a moment to reflect
on the things about yourself that you would like to see improve, be it image,
spirituality, or character. Once you figure out what you want to see changed in
your life, there is NOTHING TO IT BUT TO DO IT! To notice a
difference in your life, you have to do something differently – CHANGE your
eating habits, TRASH your lazy activities and replace them with productive
ones, WORKOUT, and feed not only your body, but your mind and spirit. CHANGE
BEGINS WITHIN, START YOUR TRANSFORMATION TODAY; do NOT put this off until
tomorrow, because tomorrow is NOT promised. Continue
to keep one another in prayer, thanking God for the victory, and refraining
from claiming defeat from the enemy; ALWAYS pray for your desired
result, NOT the unfavorable outcome. Do
NOT lose sight of God in the midst of adversity, God Bless!
Passage James 3:5-8 (NLT):
"In the same way, the tongue
is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great
forest on fire. And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of
wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire,
for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals,
birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It
is restless and evil, full of deadly poison."
To defeat worry and fear:
"The devil flees from me
because I resist him in the name of Jesus" derived from James 4:7 (Capps, 1976, p. 153). Reference: Capps, C. (1976). The Tongue - A Creative

James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you.” It is true that there is an ongoing war between
the angels of darkness (Satan’s demons) and the angels of light (God’s angels),
but in the book of Revelation, it is foretold that the battle is already won –
The Lord has already defeated Satan (refer to Revelation chapter 10). Remember
when Jesus was in the wilderness, and Satan tried to temp the Lord? We must
remember that before he was cast down to Earth, Satan was in Heaven and
happened to be one of God’s most beautiful creations. However, his greed and
envy transformed him from good to evil. Yet, he is able to quote the scripture
probably better than the holiest of holy saints. That being said, do NOT be
fooled by Satan’s antics; the devil knows the Word like his backhand, and he
knows that God is almighty. Thus sayeth the Lord; whatever we bind on Earth
will be bound in Heaven, and faith as small as a mustard seed can move
mountains. The key is to speak in faith, and know that God has the final
say. Therefore, when the adversary is at your door, command that he depart,
and do NOT leave any windows or doors open for the enemy to return. Transform your
mind by the Word of God, so that you are NOT tricked with evil foolery.
Prayer of the Day:
Father God we thank you for this day, for
forgiveness of our sins, and for providing a solid foundation to base our lives
upon. We thank you for the sacrifice of your only Son, and the blood that He
shed which delivered us from our sins, healed us from disease, and provides
eternal life. We thank you for your knowledge and wisdom, and the peace that
passeth all understanding, as we learn and grow through our trials and
tribulations. We thank you for the ability to use your Word as the stabilizing
force in our lives, to claim and accept the authority in our words, which will
send Satan and his army packing. We rebuke the rulers of the darkness of this
world, and through the words of our mouths, we take back everything the devil
has stolen from us. We cancel every plot, plan, and scheme the enemy has
devised against us in the matchless name of Jesus, and declare that no weapon
formed against us will prosper. We thank you for allowing your angels to do our
bidding on Earth without recourse. We thank you in advance that our needs and
desires are met. We submit this affirmation of faith in the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen!
